Beautiful waterside camping.
This property is simply beautiful. Jane is a wonderful host and we could not have asked for more. We pitched our tent in view of the gorgeous waterfall, bathed in the stream, lounged in hammocks and cooked over a fire. There is some noise from the nearby highway, but the sound of the water more than makes up for it.
This was our first Hipcamp trip and exceeded our expectations! The hosts greeted us when we arrived and communicated directions and other instructions well. The property is really pretty and we were given tons of space to spread out. The creek near the campsite is peaceful yet impressive. It looks like something you could hike to. There is also a hammock you can rest on while listening to the creek which is a perfect way to end a day in the mountains.
What a lovely piece of property and place to camp! Description was accurate and even better than described. We had access to electricity since we brought a long extension cord. Creek is cold but lovely for a rinse off. I'll definitely book again
We needed a quick vacay from the oppressive heat where we live. This was a great getaway spot - close to trails of Roan Mountain/Grassy Ridge. Jane was quick to respond to questions and a gracious host. Thanks!
