I've been contemplating whether I should write a review but honestly I had such a bad experience that I have to. Long story short the directions and the map given by the host were very hard to understand, he never helped us out with anything, gave us the wrong map didn't give any accurate information never said if we needed keys to the bunk house, and the guidance is horrible there are no proper signs to tell you where your going. We ended up at a no trespassing zone because that's what the map he gave us was guiding us too. Not to mention is was pitch dark we had to get out of the car and push it because it got stuck, these are very narrow roads I'm glad none of my family got severely injured. we even had to get out and ask for help at other cabins and they had no idea where the map was guiding too. "the office" is not an office because people can rent there too. we went to the office to ask for help, a kind couple helped us and gave us the CORRECT map. Since we were tires and it was already 3 hours in we weren't able to fine the bunk house and had to stay in our car with our dogs. I called David (host) and left voicemails explaining my horrible experience he never answered so we left and went home 3 hours away. He answered me and said he would refund the money back but he lied he never answered our calls even though we never stayed. We had to talk to hip camp and Madelyn helped us out! and I'm so glad I reached out to them because she took the time to listen to me, and I'm getting a refund. Thank you Hip camp, as far at Indigo eagle sanctuary I do not recommend this place to anyone!!
