Wow! This place was AMAZING! Very beautiful area and an even better camping site! Everything was so clean and maintained as well as close by and easy to access/use. We will definitely be back! Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a GREAT camping site! They also allow pets and our 3 dogs had the time of their life there ☺️

This place was incredible. We drove through miles of beautiful country and farm land to pull onto a gravel road splitting freshly harvested tobacco fields. Behind these fields and utop a hill is a nice farm house where the hosts live. At the bottom of this hill is a stocked pond set with a flat bottom boat, trolling motor, oars and fishing poles. Surrounded by acres of tall wooded land, the pond and surrounding camp sites and fire pits do much to give one a true sense of privacy and freedom. During our stay, the hosts were installing a shower with hot water and compost waste system near the camp sites. This addition will mean for added comfort during longer stays in the future. The hosts provided a small charcoal grill, a few tiki torches and a bottle of tiki fluid at the site. On this beautiful property are miles and miles of hiking/atv/biking trails that will give your hours of fun navigating. The massive plots of organized crops, surrounding ranch land roaming with cattle, nustled in a tall canopied forest gives this place a harmonic attribute that is quite difficult to describe. There were other perks that we were able to enjoy, thanks to the host’s generosity. Needless to say, Honey Bee Hills Farm is one of our favorite places to camp and we will definitely return.

What an incredible experience! The campsite was spacious, private, and absolutely beautiful. There is a shower with hot water, a super cool compostable toilet, grills, a firepit, and fresh drinking water for refilling. Liz was so welcoming and helpful - she showed us around the property and provided a printed map of the hiking trails. We had a fantastic time and our dog loved roaming around and exploring the grounds. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will absolutely return if in the area again. Also - make sure to check out their stand at the Hillsborough flea market if you're in town on a Saturday!

The experience at Honey Bee Hill Farms exceeded our expectations. I almost hate to divulge how awesome this place is, for fear it will become so popular that we will have trouble getting reservations in the future! The farm was gorgeous, and the campsite was peaceful. The site was well maintained but still had a primitive feel. Having a bath house nearby was a treat; everything was well thought out and easy to use. The stocked pond and trails were also a lot of fun. Best of all, Liz and Rich were so friendly and accommodating, and made us feel like we had known them for years. We will definitely be back!
