Blissful times outdoors
We had such a lovely time while staying at Hide-A-Way Mountain Retreat. Our hosts were so kind and helpful. Matt helped us to get our gear to the site and gave us directions of where to explore to see different parts of the land. We were able to take a short walk to see where the North Toe and South Toe rivers meet! So cool. We were also invited to join Matt and his family/friends while cooking bread over the fire later that evening. The bread was amazing and the company was just as kind. The stars were perfectly visible from my hammock at night and it was ideal weather as well. We will definitely be going back and recommending this area to others.
Matt was really awesome! He helped drive our stuff to and from the camp and offered us all the firewood we could burn. He also gave us some delicious looking peppers. This is how you host.
Matt and Robin were so kind and helpful! The property was beautiful. We were able to explore down the abandoned railroad tracks a bit and alongside the river. We definitely want to come back to visit again soon.
