The farm is a former hayfield with an incredible view up to the National Forest. It is truly the best view you can get from the French Broad River Valley, and is convenient to town. The farm is in a private neighborhood. I hope that spending time immersed in the natural farmland setting will benefit my guests as much as it has me. Currently, there are 5 horses on the farm. HipCamp has made it possible to support our rescue ex-racehorse, Dahlia, over the years, and guests love to meet her. Nearby Brevard and Pisgah Forest township provide grocery, restaurant, and bar options, such as The Hub and Pisgah Tavern, Crank Coffee, Oskar Blues, Brevard Brewing, 185 King St, and more. Sellers love making tailored recommendations to your preferences. In 2022, we began to offer dispersed field camping in addition to the original RV campsite. The location is extremely convenient to Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and Brevard.This listing is for dispersed field camping in addition to the original "main" camp site. Tent Campers, Vans, and Small RV's are welcome to set up camp alongside the horses, and more than one group are welcome. Potable water can be accessed by the small house on site, from the same spigot used to turn on the outdoor shower! Cinderblock fire rings can be moved as needed. Bent River Equestrian is all flat pastureland with spectacular long range views up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Black Balsam, Mt. Pisgah and Looking Glass Rock. We are safely and conveniently located in a private neighborhood. As the sun rises each morning, pastel colors fill the sky and the horses stir while the fog lifts. There is no better place to enjoy your morning coffee with the sunrise or a local beer and watch the sunset. As there is not much shade, in the summer months it is recommended to spend an afternoon in the woods as the campsite gets warm in direct sun. After 6 PM it normally cools off. Nearby Brevard and Pisgah Forest township provide grocery, restaurant, and bar options, such as The Hub and Pisgah Tavern, Crank Coffee, Oskar Blues, Brevard Brewing, 185 King St, and more. Sellers loves making tailored recommendations to your cravings. The location is extremely convenient to Dupont State Forest (4 miles), Pisgah National Forest (4 miles), and Brevard. Fun and unique camping experience!

Super fun and unique experience! Sellers was super communicative and her land was beautiful. Also located in a great spot - close to downtown Brevard and all the great hiking spots!

Sellers was a wonderful host and her property is beautiful. She was very accommodating in that we had requested dispersed camping in the field, but she insisted we stay at her concrete slab due to rain / mud in the field. I highly recommend Sellars and her beautiful property.

Perfect spot for a weekend away

This was a clean, spacious spot with a gorgeous view! We loved getting to hang out with the horses and feed them. The instructions on how to get there were clear and Sellers was very helpful. Planning another trip soon!

Pre-Thanksgiving (Amazing) Stay

We had such a wonderful stay with Sellers and her horses. Waking up amidst ‘moody mountains’ is always a favorite, and the view did not disappoint. Hook-up was smooth and appreciated the platform outside our stairs. We got to do the meet and greet with the horses and our littles absolutely loved helping with “dinner” for the guys and gals. Sellers was available and so friendly - we can’t wait to come back!!
