Glamping Cabin - This special cabin is built around a live tree!! Yes, there is a living tree in the center of this octagon shaped cabin. This wonderful space is tucked up high on the hillside with a significant flight of stairs that has to be climbed up to access the Tree Top Cabin. It has a large private deck looking out into the woods. This is a primitive camping cabin that is perfect for one or two people. Think of this as "glamping". It is furnished with a memory foam platform bed, an armchair and an end table. We provide sheets, pillows, blankets and towels for this cabin.

TreeTop Cabin is a primitive camping cabin without electricity or plumbing. We provide a battery operated lantern for your convenience. It has real windows and doors with screens to feel the cool mountain breezes. You are able to go up to our Lodge building and use the bathroom in the Lodge at any time.  We have a coffee station set up in the Lodge for your use.

We provide a propane space heater for your comfort during the colder months.

A short distance from the private deck is a campfire ring complete with dry firewood and a couple of Adirondack chairs for you to use. A tri-pod grill is also available for you to use if you would like to cook over a wood fire.

We are close to Grayson Highlands State Park, Mount Rogers, Stone Mountain and Doughton Park, all offering great hiking! The nearby New River offers canoeing, kayaking, tubing and fishing. Visit the quaint town of West Jefferson for shops, art galleries and restaurants.

Weekends during July, August and October require a 2 night minimum stay. Check with us if you are looking to stay just 1 night on a weekend as we can sometimes accommodate that request. Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day have a 3 night minimum stay.

Great place. Small, cozy, nice porch looking at the woods. Enjoyed the well stocked fire pits, the great spring water. Hosts were fantastic. Will probably come back some day.

Basically just a bedroom. No electric, water or bathroom. In the treehouse. These were supplied by hosts at the lodge so they were available. Water from the spring was wonderful. Was not the glamping that I expected.

View from the deck Breakfast is cooking. Up the stairsThere is a tree right in the middle.
