NOTE: Buncombe County, where we are located, is now approved to accept guests under the coronavirus order for N.C.

Park your RV at this site (one of THREE) on the CreekStone property in Candler, North Carolina and enjoy the awesome 360° mountain views. Lots of space to roam, hike, pitch horseshoe, enjoy fire in fire pit or simply relax and enjoy the views. Space accommodates small to large RV's with either 30 or 50 amp electrical power, sewer and water hookup. (NOTE: If you look at the Google arial map, you will see the location of each campsite.)  After retiring, my husband and I moved back to one of the homes on this farm where I grew up. We want to share the space with others who enjoy nature, outdoors, great views and all the great things to experience in the surrounding towns. Only a 20 minute drive to Asheville where you can tour Biltmore House, Grove Park, breweries, eat at many great restaurants, enjoy rafting, zip lining and many other outdoor activities. We are 15 minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway with 2-lane, less traveled access road to get there. Bring your bikes and hiking equipment - there’s plenty of room to ride and hike. The old red barn on property has been restored and offers relaxation loft for your enjoyment.

This is a beautiful location. Our first RV and our first hipcamp experience. We could not be happier with this choice. Our camp host brought us delicious homemade bread on our first morning. Wow. How lucky can you get, right next to smoky mountains and 20 minutes from Asheville. As a very special extra this property has a barn, ready with games, hammocks to relax and a huge table to enjoy your family and neighbors. You will love being here.

This site exceeded my expectations--it is beautiful, peaceful spot with the right balance of an attentive host but plenty of privacy. Louedith was so wonderful, she really made an already special spot even more special with her hospitality and well-cared for property-- and nice hiking trail and places to explore with our dog were a bonus. 10/10.

My sister and I loved staying at Louedith's. She was extremely accommodating as our arrival time initially changed. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We loved spending some time in the Red Barn and relaxing. Louedith's property was beautiful, clean, and very quiet. It was a wonderful week spent and we both agreed we'd come back if we were in the area!

This was our first Hipcamp experience and will be hard to beat! Louedith is an amazing host. The property is very clean and scenic. It’s a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and all that Asheville has to offer. Would definitely recommend!

Breezy, picturesque barn, gorgeous fields of lightning bugs and a fire pit with a stunning mountain view at sunset. We loved it here.

Our host was very quick to respond to our texts while we were planning our trip and when we had questions. She conveniently leaves your information so you don’t need to coordinate a meeting which was great.

We were social distancing and remote working and it was great. I used the WiFi at the barn and had an amazing day hearing only birds and feeling a cool breeze. My husband worked from the RV with strong Verizon data. Late afternoon the internet and cellular slowed down quite a bit so we stopped and grilled in time to watch the lightning bugs.

We thought it would be crowded when we saw 6 kids as we pulled in but there was so much space there were couples walking and kids on bikes and a family at the fire pit it really felt like we were in a friendly community but with complete privacy. Site 3 has the longest distance to the sewer hookup but there really is’t a bad spot in the place. It’s an easy distance from the highway with nothing scary besides some potholes and driving slow made those no problem.

Sites 2 and 3 are near the barn and site 1 is near the fire pit. There are two AirBNB houses in between. This would be the best place for a family reunion with plenty of space to be together and separate.

Great site- even for my 37ft Allegro Bay- no problems getting in or out- very private- the activity barn is just amazing wish we had built in more time to enjoy it but close to tubing, downtown Asheville, almost no noise at all - great views. Just can’t say enough great things about this site on the mountain. Great place for R&R!

We had a great stay and the site was as advertised. Site 3 likely was the most private of the 3 sites. 2 and 3 are next to each other on one side of the property and site 1 is on the other side but closer to the houses. There is a fire pit and horse shoes on the site 1 side and a barn for use on the 2/3 side. I was happy with site 3 and would book it again. If after best view from camper, I'd go with site 1.
