Park your RV at this campsite (one of THREE) CreekStone campsites in Candler, North Carolina and enjoy the awesome 360° mountain views. Lots of space to roam, hike, pitch horseshoe, enjoy fire in fire pit or simply relax and enjoy the views. Space accommodates small to large RV's with either 30 or 50 amp electrical power, sewer and water hookup. (NOTE: If you look at the Google arial map, you will see the layout of the spaces.) After retiring, my husband and I moved back to one of the homes on this farm where I grew up. We want to share the space with others who enjoy nature, outdoors, great views and all the great things to experience in the surrounding towns. Only a 20 minute drive to Asheville where you can tour Biltmore House, Grove Park, breweries, eat at many great restaurants, enjoy rafting, zip lining and many other outdoor activities. We are 15 minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway with 2-lane, less traveled access road to get there. Bring your bikes and hiking equipment - plenty of room to ride and roam. The old red barn on property has been restored and offers relaxation loft for your enjoyment.

This site and host were awesome. We were greeted by Louedith who generously offered a fresh baked loaf of bread to us. Not sure if this is the norm, but it sure was kind. She delivered firewood to us the 2nd night for a fair price as well, and was communicative any time we had a question.

There are 3 sites; two are a long stone's throw away and look like a normal back-in site. Ours was #1, which is a larger open space. It's covered in hard packed gravel and while adjacent to the gravel road that leads to 5 more homes on this 'street', it was plenty far enough away to feel like we had our own space. The hookups were in order and easy to reach. You are adjacent to a house that Louedith also rents via AirBnB, and there were guests there just two of our 4 days. Depending on the length of your rig and how you park it, there's a generous amount of space between you and the house. On your other side is a neighbor's private home, also not too close. You're somewhat separated by a custom built pergola at this site only, with a corner of walls that block some view to the neighbor and make you feel like you're in your own space.

The driveway is long and 7-9 degrees steep according to my truck, and we hauled our 20' trailer up without issue. It has some dips but we're told it'll be fixed.

The views of the mountains were amazing! There were tons of fireflies in the evenings, a gentle breeze, and less noise than any other campsite we've been at. You can hear an occasional neighbor rolling up the driveway and a seldom whisper of the roads far below, but that's it. We enjoyed the large patio around the fire, horseshoes, and the barn with checkers, magazines, hanging swing chairs, a 2-person hammock, and darts. Amazing place to spend a couple hours at a time.

We definitely recommend this HipCamp!

Great spot with an amazing view. It was quiet, about 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Louedith answered my 59 questions, was very welcoming and hospitable. The site is large and flat, hookups are easy to access. It is in a gravel driveway with houses closeby, but fences and such provide privacy and it really is a spectacular spot at the top of a hill. We got good Verizon cell service. We'd definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed talking with both of you and appreciate you sharing your camping experiences with us. As a new host, you gave us some ideas that we plan to put into motion and thus add to the campers enjoyment. (And the electrician has already been here.) ☺ We hope you will come back again...you certainly are welcome any time!

The hostess was accommodating and helpful. She met us when we arrived and gave thorough instructions on parking, hookups etc. She also provided us with information and brochures for the area. Best of all, she gifted us a loaf of homemade bread.
The site was spacious and everything worked well and was clean and tidy.
The location is perfect! 20 minutes to downtown Asheville and about the same to the Blue ridge parkway.
We highly recommend going to sliding rock, lookout falls and Brevard.
If your in Asheville on a Friday night, catch the drum circle downtown. It’s free and a cool experience.
Totally enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we are in the area.

We had a great stay at our site and our host Louedith was very helpful and greeted us when we arrived with a big smile and a homemade bundt cake...true southern hospitality. I would recommend this site and when we are back in the Asheville area it would be a joy to stay at Louedith's site again. Thank you!! Kim & Ripley

This was truly a little gem and while not what we expected we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Louedith the hostess is the sweetest and was incredibly accommodating, as were the other neighbors we met. With small kids and a dog who is overly friendly it can be a bit intimidating venturing into the unknown but we were at home here! The location serves as a great jumping off point to venture into Pisgah, and offers some beautiful quick hikes right from your door. Keep an eye out for wildlife too, we saw deer and a sly red fox on our short stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Louedith couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and a few spectacular sunsets. The site is convenient to Asheville and it was an easy drive going downtown for dinner a few times. Also close by, the WNC Farmers Market and The North Carolina Arboretum.

There is a road that runs in front of the site which goes to the 3 or 4 neighbors past the site. So a car occasionally passes by. It's not frequent and would not deter us from another stay. There is a cottage next door and 2 other RV sites down by the barn. You aren't secluded here but you have so much more privacy than any RV park I've ever been to. It was a lovely setting.
