Very peaceful & clean
Michael was extrenely helpful in helping me find the campground. (My gps was messing up). Even though I used instant book he still came out to our site to personally welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed and explain the features and area of the campgrpund. Extremely clean and well maintained grounds. He seems to constantly be adding improvements. Lots of small extras l was not ecpecting. The only down side (which we didnt mind) is there is not much privacy between camp sites. The place is peaceful and makes you feel far away from the hustle & bustle of town. Michaels personality just makes it better. You can tell he enjoys his life out there. We will go back without a doubt!
Beautiful and quiet stay
Michael is very welcoming and helpful. He keeps up everything so it’s clean and organized. He asked if I needed anything when I arrived. It’s beautiful grounds and very quiet at night. I highly recommend this site!
Well kept and clean
First time camping ever and using hipcampers. it’s difficult to find campsite and I’m glad found this one. Very clean and well kept. The host even came out to ensure I was all squared and away and didn’t need anything . Definitely will be back in near future
Beautiful, relaxing camp experience
We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the beautiful, clean, well manicured sites. The driveway reminds you of a state park as it winds back to the private sites. The owner was quick to answer any questions prior to our arrival and was very concerned that we enjoyed ourselves while we were there. We will definitely come back again!
A first time camping success!
This was my family’s first time camping! It was a success. Better than we expected in terms of setup, facilities. Michael was a great host and understanding to our needs but respecting privacy! Definitely added to our family tradition!
Peaceful and well-tended, CCB was nicely balanced for nature and civilized comforts. Attention to detail seems a part of how Michael builds and maintains his campsites and while it might not have as many fancy amenities as some others, what you have is just great. Overall, the layout was convenient and easy to navigate. Picnic tables were spotless, and the outhouse was better than many indoor bathrooms I'd used in the last 30 days. Great also describes your host. I left the hatch open on my car overnight and drained the battery -- Michael came to my rescue with a jump at no small inconvenience to himself.
+ Firelovers will find plenty of local deadwood for tinder and kindling (at least in February), but bring your own hardwood for fuel.
+ All potable water is bottled, so I was sure glad to have a 10-gallon bladder with me for convenience.
The site was well shaded with pines. It was well kept and neat. The only issue was our neighbor working on his rig with an impact wrench for an hour or so. Not a deal breaker. You can ride your bike down country rodes and only see a car or 2. I definitely recommend cedar Creek boondocking.
