Excellent stay!
Great stay! Tough hike up (if no 4 wheel drive) but great camp site. Clean, Friendly and informative hosts, and quiet.

Campsite at the Vedic Eco-Farm
Need a 4wd/awd to drive up the property but all in all, very beautiful sites, well kept, and plenty of firewood was provided by the host. There’s also a super friendly and cute free roaming kitty that kept us company!!

It was rough, lots of underbrush and sticks. For the money it’s not worth it, look elsewhere.

Campsite at the Vedic Eco-Farm
Peaceful stay in the mountains
We loved our weekend at the Vedic Eco-Farm. The property is lush and secluded. There are streams and amazing trails on the property. We befriended the farm animals including a wonderful dog and Daisy the goat. From the farm, you can take a trail that goes to the top of Mount Mitchell along the back side where we saw only three other people during our entire hike.
The streams have some swimming holes all in the shade. They also have a spring where you can refill water, though it's a bit of a hike to get to, so would recommend bringing enough water for your stay. They are also in the middle of building outhouses for those who are not comfortable going in the woods.
We really enjoyed getting to know our hosts. They are welcoming and were ready to help us to find trails or haul our stuff up the steep driveway in their ATV.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the Vedic Farm if you are looking for some secluded and peaceful camping in the woods.
