Celesterra is a spiritual retreat treehouse for people feeling the need to go deep within. It is a beautiful, serene space for deep rest and contemplation, healing from grief, finding new direction in life, etc.  It is a beautiful, serene space that is cozy, warm and inviting that sits in a private 3-acre  pasture with dramatic views of the Smoky Mountains. Vegetarian cooking only. IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PEOPLE WHO WISH TO COME AND DO A RETREAT.

Celesterra is a 230 sq. ft. sacred space that floats between earth and sky about 15 feet off of the ground. Built by the television show Treehouse Masters, it is a beautiful, serene space that is cozy, warm and inviting. PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an application telling us why you want to come on retreat. The application is simple: Please write a thorough explanation to the question: What is my inner most heart yearning for during my retreat in Celesterra and why?  If we feel your application is sincere and earnest and gives us enough information to come to a sense of right alignment, we will notify you of your acceptance.

We conduct a COVID-standards preparatory cleaning 72 hours before your arrival, so everything is healthy for you when you arrive. Please do not apply to come if there is any chance you have been exposed.  We want everyone healthy!

In addition, all food and cooking are strictly vegetarian with no garlic or onions (so the next guests might be able to appreciate the space as well). No meat on the land at all, please.

Celesterra features a beautiful living area with wood stove and leather club chairs, a dining table,  stocked kitchenette and a bathroom with a composting toilet. It has no running water, but glorious spring water is supplied for drinking, washing dishes and cleaning hands. A beautiful shower (not being shared during COVID period - it is not a bathroom we use for 72 hours prior to arrival)  is available in the main house, (about a three minute walk - try a walking meditation back and forth each day!). You can restock up on water there, or walk about 1 minute from the treehouse to where the spring overflows into the creek and fill up there. It also features a large front deck with fabulous views of the mountains.

The bedroom is located in a loft above the kitchen area. It features a queen size memory foam mattress (like a cloud), with all natural bedding. It is accessed by a 9-foot ladder. If you have physical limitations, using the ladder might prove difficult for you, please let us know. See photos included here or we can send photos.

This is a wonderfully quiet space that enhances your meditations, reflections and relaxation. Only serious intentions to do deep personal work will be considered. We ask for 7 days notice before booking, but apply if you feel a deep need to come within the 7 day limit.

Again, he application is simple: Please write a thorough explanation to the question: What is my inner most heart yearning for during my retreat in Celesterra and why?  If we feel your application is sincere and earnest and gives us enough information to come to a sense of right alignment, we will notify you of your acceptance.

Once again, retreats can be 3 - 14 nights in length. Also, we are happy to discuss financial costs for retreats longer than a week. We will try and work with you in any way to help make this a transformational experience.

You will have complete access to the entire treehouse plus three acres of forest and pasture that feels like a park.  There are more than 15 more acres of woodland and lowland along the river. There is about 700 feet of riverfront you can walk along, a rushing stream that is so clean you can drink from it, and the option to pet two horses in our neighbor's pasture. There is a parking space very near Celesterra that is accessed up a mountainous gravel road (we can also drive you up). While you will feel you are all on your own, a brief three minute walk will bring you to our main house.  There is also access to a Native American medicine wheel ( we can teach you how to access it).
