We are a small family owned campground currently offering 4 camping sites (one of which will open in June 2020 and will offer a unique "glamping" experience in a 16' round canvas tent!). Our sites are private and wooded, nestled among Hemlock, Beech, Oak, and Rhododendron forests. Our property boasts an amazing variety of plant life -giant Ferns, Butterfly Weed, Milk Weed, Trillium, Mountain Laurel, Bee Balm, mosses, mushrooms, and wildflowers galore! We encourage exploration and conservation of our natural wonders, and invite our campers to wander around our property, or catch (or feed!) a fish in our pond! Our public restroom and shower (with hot water) are located at our main store building (also the owner's apartment), which is accessible for all of our campers. We have a drink vending machine (sodas) at the check-in area and bagged ice by request. A limited selection of basic camping supplies is also available for purchase by request. Pets are allowed at this site if they are well-behaved, restrained, and are not left unattended. This site is on a slope, so if it's important to you to have a flat site I might suggest one of my other listings (The Cabin at Blue Ridge or The Creek at Blue Ridge).
This woodsy site has a rustic open-air 10' x 8' shed shelter (wood walls, floor, metal roof, open doorways and open window), a fire ring and firewood to burn, a picnic table, and a 10' x 8' tend pad. It is within walking distance of the restroom and shower but a lot of people do prefer to hop in their car to ride down the hill to the restroom. It is important that you arrive before dark so that you can find your way around the property.
I am often not around throughout the day to greet guests when they arrive, so I've set up a check-in area with all the information you need. I do require guests to fill out a small registration card, for my records, and to sign off on the campground rules (basic, common-sense stuff). No trailers or RV's are allowed at any of my sites.

We would return! The community is small and it takes time to travel if you’re planning on exploring. Prepare well, because the closest store (for food) is approximately 25 mins away. Check in at the front before searching for the camp site. We were not provided accurate information on the reservation page. Overall, it was a great experience and we enjoyed the visit.
We arrived to find that there was only one other campsite booked at the time of our stay, so it felt very private and peaceful. The site was really well kept, with a new handmade picnic table and just the right amount of firewood stacked up for a fire that night.
The site was well shaded and allowed us to escape the heat. We were able to set up our hammock and kick back as the sun went down. The night was really peaceful and our 2 dogs loved getting to spend time with us outdoors.
The grounds were well kept with an abundance of wildflowers in bloom. We very much enjoyed our stay at Blue Ridge Campground and would definitely return.
Beautiful location, tucked away from the hustle of city living. The campsite was perfect, only one other family was nearby so it was very quiet and private. It's the perfect getaway right off of the blue ridge parkway. Highly recommend this location, plenty of trails nearby to hike if you want, or a perfect place to sit in stillness for awhile.
This site is a gem! Laurel came out and greeted us upon our arrival and gave us directions to the site. Great little camping spot with good facilities, and only a short drive to the parkway. 11/10 would definitely recommend 🤗
A rainy stay, so the shed was very helpful to stay dry. Spent some great time alone with God, what a blessing to be given this location, also vlose by a mountain, so enjoyed some hill sprints and scenery!
A lovely site and great host!!
Such a lovely site. Firewood provided under the Shed. We were the only campers until our last night. So peaceful and serene! Sweet little pond on site with fish. The hot shower and bathroom was very nice. Laurel was super helpful with recommendations on hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. We’ll certainly be back!
