We are a small family owned campground currently offering 4 camping sites (one of which will open in June 2020 and will offer a unique "glamping" experience in a 16' round canvas tent!). Our sites are private and wooded, nestled among Hemlock, Beech, Oak, and Rhododendron forests. Our property boasts an amazing variety of plant life - giant Ferns, Butterfly Weed, Milk Weed, Trillium, Mountain Laurel, Bee Balm, mosses, mushrooms, and wildflowers galore! We encourage exploration and conservation of our natural wonders, and invite our campers to wander around our property, or catch (or feed!) a fish in our pond! Our public restroom and shower (with hot water) are located at our main store building (also the owner's apartment), which is accessible for all of our campers. We have a drink vending machine (sodas) at the check-in area and bagged ice by request. A limited selection of basic camping supplies is also available for purchase by request. Pets are NOT allowed at this site.
This is a great, almost flat campsite! It is spacious, shady, and mossy, and has a small creek running along one side. Relax in the hammock (provided!) and listen to the soothing sounds of the bubbling stream! There is also a little "peek-a-boo" access to our pond, complete with a small bench to rest on! This spot has room for 1 tent, has a table and 2 chairs, a picnic table, a fire ring, and wood to burn! It is the closest spot to our restroom and shower - just walk out of the forest and across the driveway. That does mean that it's the least private site we have, just because of it's proximity to the facilities, but some people prefer that!
I am often not around throughout the day to greet guests when they arrive, so I've set up a check-in area with all the information you need. I do require guests to fill out a small registration card, for my records, and to sign off on the campground rules (basic, common-sense stuff). It is important that you arrive before dark so that you can find your way around the property. No trailers or RV's are allowed at any of my sites.
