Lake James Mountain Valley

Welcome to Lake James Mountain Valley Campground located right next to Lake James State Park in beautiful Nebo, North Carolina. We are building a new campground and are pre-booking for our opening on September 1st, 2020. Lake James Mountain Valley is the official campground for the upcoming Big Canna World Adventure Park, opening in 2021. Easy drives to many nearby activities including the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Pisgah National Forest, various Ski Resorts and more!

See spectacular valley views with these boat friendly, pet friendly and cannabis friendly RV & Tent sites. Expect a leveled gravel spot long enough to accommodate a motorhome, pull-behind trailer or tent, firepit with grill top or charcoal grill, fresh artisan well water available nearby. Premium Porta-Toilet available for those without one. Each site comes with nearby parking for two vehicles, car or boat. So park one boat and one car, two cars, two boats, or even more with the ability to add more vehicles for a small additional fee.

Please note that only the camping areas will be open during 2020, this is why we are only offering partial services at a discounted rate. Expect this to be more of a primitive experience during this period. There will be nearby construction for the Adventure Park and other campground amenities. Don't worry though, we think you'll have a great time and enjoy the convenient access to amazing views and nearby activities. We expect the full opening in 2021.
