If you're looking for a camping experience with an off the road feel then you've reach the right place. Our driveway is 3/4 of a mile off the road. We are surrounded by woods. With just a short hike through the woods, you'll have access to Kerr Lake, one of NC hidden treasures. There's a good chance you'll see deer, wild turkeys and the occasional coyote. Our ranch specializes in raising poultry on pastures and grass fed/grass finished beef cows. Our main approach to the ranch is homesteading for our family. The Ranch is 70 acres total with roughly 45 acres of pastures. There is 12 acres of woods, so if a wooded site is what you're looking for then help yourself. You're welcome to camp anywhere as long as it's not in my backyard, lol. We do have fresh farm eggs for sale along with pasture raised chicken meat if you're wanting something to throw on the grill. This time next year we will also have beef sales too. If you're camping with us in your RV, dry camping is the only option. Generators are allowed and you can fill up your fresh water tanks on site upon entering our property.

The view at this site was really cool. We were able to watch the sunset over the hills. Joe allowed us to camp anywhere we wanted on the property. We were able to park our truck next to the spot we picked out in the pasture. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get "back to the basics".
My boyfriend and I loved camping at this site with our dog. We were only able to stay one night, but we enjoyed hiking through the woods to Kerr Lake, building a fire, visiting with the cows (from afar haha, they weren’t huge fans of our dog) and Joe’s sweet pups, getting to eat fresh farm eggs in the morning for breakfast, and getting to see a beautiful sunset followed by the most starry sky.
Joe basically gave us free reign of the ranch, but was available if we needed him. I definitely recommend this site if you are an explorer!
