We had an amazing time on Randy and Allison’s beautiful homestead! Our only regret was that we weren’t able to stay longer (or forever!) . Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastically answered all our kids (and our!) many questions about the farm. The animals were great to engage with and observe. The views were absolutely breathtaking (beautiful star gazing too!) and our two days there were a wonderful, much needed break from reality. We look forward to visiting again soon!

ZiegenVine Homestead is a serene little spot off the beaten path, yet very convenient to I-86 (which itself is a beautiful highway and a very nice alternative to the Thruway for those traveling across the length of New York State). Alison and Randy are friendly and warm, and provide excellent guidance to the benefits of their property and their farm animals. We camped in our little trailer near the goats and the turkeys, and although we missed goat yoga, I took my mat to the location and did a little yoga on my own with a beautiful view of the rolling hills beyond. There are some sweet mown trails to enjoy and the stars put on a great show. Very serene.
