Awesome place. Feels super private. Camping without the work or packing, so that you can enjoy every moment hiking, swimming or going wine tasting. Didn’t make it to the wineries or breweries but have in the past and they were a delight. Ps buy the honey, jam and farm fresh eggs.

dont trust the instant book feature! you might be needing a place to stay, PAY, then think you have one... only to be told that you cant come because of your arrival time is too late..

and then you still cant get a refund 5 days later.

This was truly an unusual situation and unfortunate situation that could have been avoided with better planning by the traveler. An instant booking at 10:30pm for an arrival at 11:30pm would be a risky no matter what. A call in advance would have eliminated Val’s frustration, Or as I mentioned, better planning to reserve the campsite and making me aware that her arrival would be late would have allowed me to keep the site open and illuminate the path to the camp. I’m sorry she is angry at me for her poor judgment.

I have only beautiful things to share about Mary. She is a super host and made my getaway so special. She’s so careful to details, and is a wholesome human with her animals and farm. Her farm is truly a magical place that happens to be between between getaway destinations! I’m sure anyone that stays at Wildwood will only have a positive experience.

Mary was a fantastic host—very warm and friendly. My kiddo adored her and the animals. Campsite had everything you could ask for and was very private. Beautiful at night surrounded by a meadow with fireflies.

Mary runs a gorgeous, welcoming farm with many rescued animals. She is an excellent host. Her jam and eggs come highly recommended. Our campsite was very private and comfortable. We saw many birds during the day and awesome stargazing at night. Mary’s farm is in a great home base for visiting Watkin’s Glen and Taughannock Falls State Parks.
