Leaves are starting to change, temperature is starting to cool off! You can book it by stopping, I just don't know how to change the 3 month to 0, but have to reset booking dates to stop each March 1st and start the new year! Not a big "camp ground" lined up with campers and all the amenities! Many mowed areas and woods and trails! Places you could camp with a long mowed area along the road. Four seasons of the year around here. Pitch your tent anywhere, or park your camper or RV near the main road. Rest and relax to recoup your energy while enjoying a mostly peaceful valley with a state road at the front of the property and dirt rural side roads surrounding the nearby properties so you can't really get lost. You'll have most of the 145 acres space to yourself. Wooded for the most part, with trails, one field, and one creek on a side hill. Now a new creek area!

Brad, our host at Close to I-86 Expressway - RESTSTOP is a super nice guy. He showed up on a tractor almost as soon as we arrived and was really easy to communicate with via text. He showed us where we could camp, gave us some tips about the surrounding area and really made us feel at home. His sweet Jack Russell Terrier, Maggie, was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t have met a sweeter pup. She followed us around as we explored the property and made it hard for us to want to leave.

As far as Brad’s site goes, we found a great, level spot that was easy to pull up into. The area was mowed and tidy and though we parked in the sun, there were plenty of spots to get into some shade. There is also a road that wraps behind Brad’s house with a few more cleared areas for camping. You can either drive up there yourself if you have 4x4 or he has a side by side you can use to get around the property.

Just down the road from Brad’s property is the town of Cuba. It’s small but worth a look! We bought a pepperjack and swiss at the retail store at Cuba Cheese! They’ve got a great little cheese shop there so be sure to stop in and pick some up before heading out of town.

There were several flat areas to choose from. The trail that goes up behind Brad's property. You can also camp up here!Love Ms. Maggie!Maggie rode all around the property with me!
