Mostly forest with 5 acres of blueberries and 10 acres of chestnuts. Explore streams, pond, wetlands, forestland managed for timber, wildlife, water quality, recreation with trails throughout land. 2 properties -- one access by pavement the other by seasonal road. Ride your mountain bikes on our dirt roads and take in the views from on top of the hill or the lush forests of the valley. The blueberries are planted on top of the hill and the last ice age that made New York what it is today went around our farm so we have soil that is great for blueberries and other fauna! Our hill top used to be one of the sites for bird counts in our area. Facebook Tan Childs farm and we are near 4 season resort 13 miles away. We would be closed from the last week in September to middle of December.

What a beautiful spot (#2)! Thank you to our generous hosts for sharing their slice of paradise! The 5 acre blueberry farm is at the top of seasonal road and is fenced in (all 5 acres) to keep the deer and bear out of the amazing blueberry bushes! We pitched our tent near the small shelter and enjoyed 2 days of total privacy! We were 2 weeks ahead of blueberry season so there were no other people there. Just the sounds of the birds and toads from the nearby pond. Great spot! We hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the blueberry farm, it was very private. We liked that there was a fire pit! it was nice to see all the stars out. One thing I would say it be aware if you have a small car because the dirt road is a bit rough driving on.

We had a great camping experience at this place. It was beautiful nature full of blueberry bushes. It was fenced all around and we felt very safe at night. There was another campsite in the farm but we were far away and had our privacy. The owners are great people very kind and they made sure we have everything we need.

My father and I spent one wonderful night amongst the blueberry bushes. The hosts are very welcoming. When we arrived, we checked in at the house and was given the option to a site by the blueberries or a site by the creek. We chose blueberries which were a short 5ish minute drive to the farm on a dirt road. We picked a spot, made camp. On-site, there was a firepit, picnic table, a port-a-john. It was really a very relaxing, quiet stay. In the morning we picked blueberries for breakfast and headed out. So happy we found this place and stayed. A new experience in New York!
