Ugly Apple Farms was started by my Wife and to try to bring fresh organic/permaculture food to our community. We love to play music and get together with our friends and have been hosting people for some time. We thought that hipcamp could introduce people to our mission and make some extra money to get the farm off the ground. Ugly Apple Farms is a diverse place. We have opportunities for farm classes, pick your own veggies and more. We also have 1800 feet of access to the Neversink River. We recommend four wheel drive for some of our sites so please ask about them. We are an off grid farm with access to some solar for charging. We have tent sites and room for campers. Our camping is primitive but there is access to potable water and sanitation if needed. All extras are first come first serve if not reserved in advance. We love and welcome any questions! Stay at the Ugly Apple

Lovely, quiet riverside setting

Randall was very welcoming and his spot is lovely. I might recommend a car with decent clearance in the springtime or mud season (our FWD crossover model did not scrape or have much difficulty even in the rain). Would definitely stay again!

Camping by the river

Beautiful property and a very friendly host. We enjoyed our stay and picking vegetables on the beautiful property. Very scenic and private camp spots by the river with fire pits. Perfect for car camping!

loved the tent camping at Randall's farm! it was near the river and the view was just soooo good. Randall was very nice and willing to help campers. there was so many to explore. you can enjoy your camping to the fullest here!

Amazing and secluded campsites by the river in a quiet and quaint part of NY. Definitely recommend for those really looking to car camp but with a bit more seclusion than normal!

Stay at the Ugly Apple

Really loved the site, it was beautiful and it felt private and safe. I'd recommend buying your own firewood and kindle before getting on site and if it's raining you'll def need 4-wheel drive or AWD.
