Staying at Turtle Rock Hollow was an amazing experience. Catherine was a wonderful host with a wealth of information on anything you could possibly want to do in the Finger Lakes area on your stay. After you get situated in your cabin, she will help you plan out what ever it is you want to do during your stay. It's clear that a lot of love and attention to detail went into this site and I was very impressed by all the campsite had to offer. I think it strikes a balance between comfort and ruffing it quite well; you can unplug but still keep your phone charged, go hiking but still be able to shower off, cook over an open fire but prep the food in a kitchen. It makes the campsite versatile in a way that can accommodate the needs of almost any group; be it a family with two kids and a dog, a couple getting away for a weekend, or for exploring the area's wineries. I can't recommend coming here enough during the peak of autumn, the Finger Lakes are absolutely stunning when the leaves start changing colors and Turtle Rock Hollow is no exception!

A view of Hummingbird Haven from the outsideEach site has a campfire pit with a grate or a separate charcoal grill for cooking. If campfire cooking isn't your thing there is a kitchen in the main lodge with everything you could need!sign amenityThe lumber roads take you up the side of the mountain where there is several acres to explore. The hike is beautiful in the fall and well worth braving the steep terrain

Catherine was the best host. She welcomed us with a smile and shared much wisdom about the local attractions. She took the time to really show me the area map and offered wonderful ideas to eat, and explore. It was a chilly weekend, but Catherine thought ahead and had electric blankets in the cabin for our use. The cabin was beautiful and everything I imagined it would be. You can tell that Catherine takes great pride in her property by the amazing upkeep. Catherine even took the time to love on my boxer dog before she headed out. Catherine, you are the best host we have had. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We will be back!!

Very nice time. Our camp spot ( Hummingbird Haven) was very isolated from the rest of the camp sites, so privacy was perfect. Cabin was also very nice. The hostess Catherine seems like a very nice person when I talked to her over the phone when we first arrived to get some information. Overall a very nice experience. Definitely would stay again in the future.

The view was beautiful, the cabin was cosy, and the amenities were just right. We enjoyed our stay and our excursions to local waterfalls, farm market, and driving in the beautiful fall foliage. Cathy was a great host and we would definitely come again for a moms weekend retreat.
