The cabin and grounds are pretty and exactly as pictured. Our host, Cathy, offered personalized recommendations for our visit. The cabin is cozy and great for a romantic getaway.

This was a small slice of heaven. We were 4 people, 2 couples... and were incredibly comfortable in Fox Den. We spent the majority of our days outside... hiking, paddleboarding, horseback riding and exploring. nights were spent around the fire at the cabin. we cooked outside and ate ate the picnic table on the cobblestone patio under the stars. we played horseshoes begging the lodge, cards inside the lodge and took hot showers there. Catherine was super helpful and personable... gave us some great recommendations and directions. we would come again to recharge and reconnect. thank you so much for the hospitality and comfort 💚

The highlight of this little adventure my partner and I took was most definitely the host, Catherine. She immediately made us feel at home and very welcome. She gave us and another couple a "paper tour" in the lodge. We were quite grateful for it as it gave us ideas for hikes around some waterfalls. We were able to visit 2 state parks in one day (Letchworth State Park and Stoney Brook State Park - beware, the scenic trail there is closed so you miss the main waterfall). The site was well maintained and appealing. We stayed at Fox's Den and loved the little cabin. We'll definitely bring our little boys (4 and 6) next time as there is a loft built into the cabin for small children including 1 twin bed and 1 full (possibly) bed up the ladder. The lodge is an excellent communal space with clean showers, bathrooms and a fully functional kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator and sink with hot water. There are games to play at a huge table that was made by Catherine. Just off of the kitchen are 2 showers with decent water pressure. All of the water is hauled up to the tank by Catherine making you respect your usage. Parking is right at the lodge and nearest to Fox's Den. The fire pit made for an excellent lounging area once the fire is built (each site has its own fire pit area). Sleeping was wonderful at Fox's Den. The bed is extra comfortable, clean sheets, soft blankets and pillows. The road nearby grows quiet at night. There are fans in each location, including the teepee! It helped us sleep to have that noise (we're glamping!). We will be visiting again in just over a month and we're bringing friends next time, that's how much we love it at Turtle Rock Hollow! Thank you for everything, Catherine!

We actually stayed in Hummingbird Haven and had an amazing time. While there were other guests there, the cabin was up a little higher and out of the way. Everything was maintained so well and Catherine had anything we might have forgotten available for use at the main lodge. She also provided us with some really good options of things to do. We loved the grape pie at Cindy’s Pie and the Hazlitt Winery which was actually dog friendly! Thanks Cathy!

We truly had a great time and the host helped us find all the places we wanted to adventure. She was very accomidating. The only real down side was that we had thought the cabin was much more private than it was.

We loved Turtle Rock. Cathy is a great host and knows everything about the area. Ask her about great swimming holes, great microbrews, and where to find "turtle rocks." The Fox's Den was a great little place to stay.

Fox Den was so cute and comfy! We really loved it here but i’m not sure it would have been big enough for 4 adults. Catherine was kind but she did not fully greet us and give us the run down or anything! She was responsive when we texted her and was helpful! It also says that there is firewood provided but it is for a fee so be sure to have small bills on you! It was a really nice stay and I will be back! We did really enjoy our time here!
