Pitch a tent and enjoy the solitude of camping in the middle of a hay field, under a huge oak tree.
In the middle of farm country. From time to time you may smell a little cow smell or hear/see a tractor drive past. However, there is nothing greater than the smell of fresh cut hay in the summer breeze. Deer graze in the fields surrounding the house.

It was a wonderful meadow with yellow wild flowers among the grass. The hosts brought us fresh milk and eggs and the space can fit many many people comfortably. They even built a beautiful cedar out house for us earlier in the day. My friends and I all rate it a 5/5 experience. Would definitely go again.
Open field with privacy
Great spot! Large open field surrounded by trees and Forrest. Great view of the mountains from the top of the hill were we set camp. Outhouse was great as well. Make sure you bring plenty of water, shade and sunscreen because it can be very exposed to the sun.
Lovely remote camp site
I recommend this beautiful site. A few thoughts: [Getting There] The host provided coordinates to the site with instructions to call upon arrival but cell service was a little spotty in the valley (I recommend providing the host with the ETA from your GPS and plan out what address to meet at, as you might not get signal upon arrival). The host was super sweet, came out to meet us despite the darkness and rain, (we got there late and in the midst of thunderstorms) and guided us to the site. [The Site] There are two options: a small spot surrounded by trees near the dirt road and a vast field with a slight upwards slope. Go with the vast field! The field is made up of tall grass and wild flowers. While we didn't get any ticks from the tall grass, I would recommend bug spray and checking yourself, as we did see a deer near the tree line. If you set up your camp up the slope, you will have a view of the mountains in the distance. It's somewhat flat at the top of the slope and feels very remote. [Outhouse] Clean, has soft TP but bring your own hand sanitizer or wipes! [Host] Jan is lovely, she came to check on us on day two and gave us a little more detail about the site (aka watch your dog with the coyotes) & gave us some instructions on getting some supplies at a nearby town. I would love to stay at Jan's Triple S Tenting spot again!
Very private and beautiful field
The camp ground was a large slightly sloped, fenced in field Which was surrounded by beautiful forests and had a great view near the top. It was very private and felt very safe. The host was very kind and provided us with free fire wood. Just make sure to being shade and bug spray
Cute meadow with thousands of firef
We absolutely loved this spot. Jan was friendly and approachable, and the directions to our meetup spot were great! She led us down a trail to a very secluded spot in a nearby meadow. She pointed out a burn barrel for us (making a campfire on the open grass wasn't smart at that time), and showed us the outhouse, which was actually really cute! We enjoyed a great night -- maybe thousands of fireflies. Insane! The next morning, cool breezes woke us up. We had freedom to lounge around a bit, but chose to get going a little after 11 because the sun exposure made our tent pretty hot. But, great spot, would definitely return!
