Cayagua Lake-front home with private dock for swimming and boating, with a boat launch at Taughannock Falls State Park one minute away.  Large wooded yard for tents, or driveway space for RV or camper trailer (we cannot get vehicles into the lakefront yard) both have electricity; bathrooms with showers are accessible in the house, and you are welcome to use the kitchen and laundry. Outdoor deck with gas grill can be used for cooking, dining, or relaxing. Drinking water is available, and an outdoor hose can supply a modest water hookup to an RV or camper.

Children are welcome, and we are dog and cat-friendly for well-behaved pets.  We have 3 indoor cats and a dog, so please be mindful of any severe allergy considerations if you plan to use our indoor facilities.

At 40 miles long, 3 miles wide, and 435 feet deep, Cayuga Lake offers great boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, swimming, and wind surfing, among other activities.  It's also a great place to hike around, bird watch, or star gaze on a clear night - which may be one reason it was also home to The Twilight Zone's Rod Serling (spooky) and Cosmos' Carl Sagan (mind-blowing).

Home also to Cornell University and dozens of small colleges, the Finger Lakes region is also a popular tourist destination, famous for its 100+ wineries, year-round outdoor activities, fine restaurants and spas, and arts and entertainment options.

This is a great site for walk in tent camping with a private dock and lake access. Trevor was a superb host. Camper van camping and parking lot is 25 ft from the highway so can be loud. Best option for this site is tent camping.

Great, dog friendly camping option for exploring the surrounding Cayuga Lake area. Minutes from Taughannock Falls state Park, wineries, and farm-to-table eating options. Loved having private beach access to Cayuga lake for swimming with my pup - Trevor even took us out on his boat! As a woman camping on my own it was nice to be on land occupied by the hosts. I felt like I had my own space but it was nice to know that other people were around. Things to be aware of: the property is on a busy road and traffic can be loud at night. Bring ear plugs and you will be fine. Yard is fenced in which is great if you are camping with your dog as I was. Trevor and Jeffrey are incredibly accommodating. Overall great first HipCamp experience - highly recommend!

Thank you for the kind review! We enjoyed your and your canine companion's stay with us. I wish we could do something about being near the busy road, but we appreciate your suggestion to help those who are sensitive to the traffic noise. Please visit us again sometime!

This place is amazing. It's private and the view is better than the pictures. You have access to the lake to take a swim or kayak from there. Also a great dock to have coffee and see the sunrise or have lunch. The camping site is near many sites to explore. Totally recommended. Just a bit noisy from the road nearby, but that wouldn't stop me from returning.

We had a wonderful time at Trevor's place. The hosts, Trevor snd Jeffrey are super nice, very welcoming, laid back. They made us feel at home. The lake is gorgeous. At night we saw millions of stars and the Milky Way right above us. The site is quiet, clean and beautiful. Cant wait to go back. Thank you Trevor and Jeffrey!

The property has a private dock on Cayuga Lake. The yard was fully fenced which was great for our two dogs! Trevor was an excellent host. He gave us privacy, while allowing us access to the house as needed.

It was a perfect weekend getaway.

Trevor was super friendly and welcoming! The site was lovely with plenty of space. We spent a lot of the weekend down on the dock (lots of stairs up and down but worth it). We would definitely stay here again!

Lakefront view? Absolutely! Cayuga lake and the finger lakes region is beautiful year round, but particularly when the leaves are changing to spectacular colors. We really lucked out with warm, sunny days and cool, breezy evenings.
