A perfect stay!
This place was more than we expected! There was some website issue that Scott absolutely overcame and gave us the greatest experience we've had on hipcamp.
The pond was great to swim in and the waterfall is a real stunner!
I will definitely book here again. And may have to book the cabin for some of my less dispersed friends. 🙂
Fun, private and beautiful location
The site was private with lots of fun close by. Pond, beautiful waterfall, clean outhouse and ability to get firewood. We stayed on site #3 closest to the waterfall. We look forward to returning again.
We had a blast
It was my first camping experience with my family. We had a phenomenal time . We felt safe and also felt like we had our private falls and campsite. The falls was beautiful and everything was kept so clean even the outer house. Scott our host and his wife was very welcoming and responsive. They were both easy going . We would definitely book another 5 hour trip next summer . It was definitely worth the drive from New York. Thank you Scott !!!!
We did not want to leave. This exceeded our expectations- we had the entire camp area to ourselves, Scott was friendly, communicative, and shows great respect for his land. The stream was so peaceful, I could have stayed there the entire time. The outhouse was spotless, abundant firewood, potable water was also available. We heard tons of wildlife - great horned owls, coyotes, possibly even a bobcat warning! It definitely feels more remote than it is. The stars were incredible. Do not miss the walk down to the stream bed - we were blown away by the raw beauty of it all. Definitely would recommend and we are planning on going back.
