I cannot day enough great things about our stay with Scott. Wow. What a perfect weekend.

First off, Scott is one of the most friendly and helpful people I’ve ever met. He greeted us when we arrived and took us on a tour and went above and beyond lending an early am hand when we got into car trouble. Twice!

Site 1 was perfect. Shade and dappled light from the trees above, private area away from the other campers and right on the creek. And it was huge.

The property exceeded our expectations! The waterfall is a must for morning swims and afternoon golden hour swims in the most magical light! The lake was the perfect temperature and we loved sitting out on the pontoon in the sun. There’s lots of space to explore, creeks to sit in and wildflowers everywhere in July!

We’re already planning our next trip back.
Do yourself a favour and book ASAP!

The campsite is gorgeous. Nestled between the trees and right next to the creek (Goodhue). It is very private, secluded and surrounded by nature. There is a trail right behind the site however that allows visitors to the area (primarily seeking to see the nearby falls) to pass through. So there are moments during a stay at the campsite that your privacy may be momentarily infringed. Fortunately when we were there this was not an ongoing all day occurrence, but just two or three groups that passed through in the late morning and early afternoon on Saturday.

We coordinated with Scott about our arrival time and met up with him in front of the barn that is at the entrance to the property. From there we followed his truck through the farm and woodlands to the site (4x or AWD advisable).

The next closest camp site on the property was distant enough that we barely heard or saw them. The outhouse sits between the two camp sites, and appears to have been recently built. It is clean and there was a tin containing dry toilet paper.

If you take a short hike following the creek you'll discover a beautiful waterfall (Little Niagara), that has a small natural pool of water deep enough to take a refreshing dip (great on a hot day). There are a few ways of crossing, some of which appear to be safer than others... we decided on the safest option and just waded across the creek at a shallow point (the water was not too high at this point in the season, other options may be safer depending on the season).

All in all, we quite enjoyed our stay and found our host to be kind and hospitable.

Perfect spot for camping. Site 1 was most secluded. In the middle of the forest and right next to creek. The approach road to the spot is very scenic. There is also a waterfall and a lake on the property

Site 1 at Towner’s Paradise is awesome! It’s the most separated from the other sites and in the shade. One of the outhouses is a short walk away as well. The stream is very close to the campsite. It’s a bit of a steep hill down to the camping areas so be prepared with the right vehicle. I would also recommend filling some water jugs before the trip down. Scott provided a spigot to fill up for free on his property. The camping is incredibly quiet and you hear no road noise as it’s in a ravine. Several hiking trails are adacent to the site and the waterfall is a close hike. Awesome spot and highly recommend it!

Great secluded location! Fun places to walk around and explore. Had an overall spectacular weekend at site 1. Didn't see any bears thankfully.

We had a wonderful time. Scott is a great host and the property is big and beautiful, it’s like a private park. Expect to see some wildlife - and respect it when you do!

Five stars!!! What an amazing campground!!!! Scott was a pleasure he showed us the route to our campsite once we got there (recommend four wheel drive for sure) ... we picked site one because reading the reviews it said it was the most secluded, it really was, we were totally alone in nature! Site one was a hugeeee campsite tucked back in the corner, the creek is right next to it with three little steps down.

We took a walk to the waterfall which is closest to site three, it was probably like a quarter of a mile from site one but worth the adventure!

We loved it! Highly recommend!!!
