Towner’s Country Paradise is only 8 miles outside of Corning, NY. You will feel like you are a million miles away, though, in the best way. On top of the mountain and part of a christmas tree farm is a wonderful cabin alongside a lake. The cabin has a huge front porch with enough tables to seat 50 people. There are also 6 bunkbeds in a shared room, a full bathroom with stand up shower, and a complete kitchen/living room.
Sitting outside watching the evening descend you can hear birds and load of frogs! If you spend some time along the lake’s edge you will see some large fish swimming around! We weren’t able to use the zipline while we were there, but the ride looks like a blast!
There is also a floating dock in the middle of the lake if you are in the mood for a swim.
Just look around in the cabin and you will find life jackets, decks of cards, flashlights, books - all kinds of things to keep you having a good time.
We went for a run in the early morning around the road up top and thru the fields of christmas trees and it’s gorgeous!
Scott, the host, is happy to take you down to the waterfall also! We weren't able to fit that into our trip, but highly recommend you checking it out. This place was very easy to relax into and highly recommend booking a stay here!

Welcome to the cabin!Still as glass! The view from the top! She's a goofball!

We had a great weekend at this cabin. It looked just like the pictures and was very cozy and rustic. We stayed here in late October so it was cold and rainy outside, but the wood stove kept the cabin extremely warm. There is so much to do at this cabin and it is on a beautiful Christmas tree farm. I would love to come back when it is warmer to take more advantage of the outdoor activities but it was a cozy place during the cold weather.

Scott was the most accommodating host ive ever had the pleasure meeting. He answered any questions i had before coming. He checked in with me prior to arrival to be sure the directions were good. He made us.feel comfortable and welcome from the moment we pulled on the property. And as he shared the family history of the land and cabin you began to feel like you belonged here. He wanted you to enjoy all the wonderful things this place has to offer.
And we sure did!! Not only did we stay an extra day ...we already booked another weekend.

As a writer of upbeat human interest stories I use many positive words. Paradise is one I almost never use, saving it for the best of the best. Towner's Paradise truly is paradise. We had planned to camp at a music festival in June, which was of course canceled. Looking for an alternative we found Hipcamp and this amazing parklike property just South of Corning. Only 55 minutes from our home. We had escaped the anxiety, news, computers, and TV for 3 days and 2 nights. There is so much to do, the time passed too quickly.

Scott the host was fantastic as well has Mike who took the time to give us the grand tour of the cabin. Scott showed up soon after with fresh linens and information about the features of the property. We had a great conversation and felt grateful his family was sharing this place with Hipcamp.

The cabin has everything you need. A well-stocked kitchen, a bathroom, with a refreshing shower and plenty of hot water. The bunk beds were much more comfortable than what I remembered fro girl scout camp. We had warm sunny weather so we spent most of our time outdoors. The mornings began with a mirrorlike pond (lake)with a white mist floating above it. The night ended with us tearing our away from the spectacle of a zillion stars filling the night sky. There was always something to do, fishing, walking, cooking over the fire, playing on the huge tire swing, bird watching, : red-headed woodpecker, Baltimore Oriel, goldfinches, cardinals, robins, and a variety of finches. We saw a pair of Canadian Geese and their babies. Such a serene, exquisite, healing place. There are waterfalls that will take your breath away. Don't miss viewing them from the nicely built, overlook, with benches. I could feel my stress evaporating as I sat, looked, and listened.

For us it was the perfect respite. Safe in the midst of COVID 19, a welcome break from the monotony of being home, something to look forward to, to enjoy every minute of it, and to have the memories to make us smile. I almost hesitate to write this review, because once you know about it you will want to come. And once you are there, you won't be in any hurry to go home. We are hoping to return at least 2 or 3 times including in the early fall, so I hope there will be openings.

To me, paradise means a place like no other you have been, a place where you feel welcome and at home, a place where you feel part of nature, and connected with earth. Towner's Country Paradise checked all the boxes. I could not recommend it more highly.
