Green rolling hills, deep valleys, a peaceful waterfall, ponds stocked with fish, a fully functional cabin, herds of deer, flocks of turkey and Canada Geese, trees of every upstate NY variety, well-maintained roads and trails, and even a small airport if you wish to fly in. It's so private that even most of the people who live in our small town don't know we're here!
Cabin has electricity, hot and cold running water, 6 bunk beds, bathroom and shower, dining room table and chairs, cooking stove, refrigerator and heat.
Hikers and campers will have the perfect blend of privacy, peace, and nature with a little bit of civilization thrown in. The cabin is available for those who wish for some home comforts, or you can camp/hike in the woods for a more wild experience.

The vibe at Towner's Country Paradise
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Towner’s Country Paradise is only 8 miles outside of Corning, NY. You will feel like you are a million miles away, though, in the best way. On top of the mountain and part of a christmas tree farm is a wonderful cabin alongside a lake. The cabin has a huge front porch with enough tables to seat 50 people. There are also 6 bunkbeds in a shared room, a full bathroom with stand up shower, and a complete kitchen/living room.
Sitting outside watching the evening descend you can hear birds and load of frogs! If you spend some time along the lake’s edge you will see some large fish swimming around! We weren’t able to use the zipline while we were there, but the ride looks like a blast!
There is also a floating dock in the middle of the lake if you are in the mood for a swim.
Just look around in the cabin and you will find life jackets, decks of cards, flashlights, books - all kinds of things to keep you having a good time.
We went for a run in the early morning around the road up top and thru the fields of christmas trees and it’s gorgeous!
Scott, the host, is happy to take you down to the waterfall also! We weren't able to fit that into our trip, but highly recommend you checking it out. This place was very easy to relax into and highly recommend booking a stay here!
