***PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION - NO RUNNING WATER NOV - MARCH*** Our *NEW* cabin is located on the top of a clearing in the mountains outside Wassaic. Enjoy swimming, hiking, chilling, fires and sunsets views without any light pollution or street noise. Designed as a retreat for the modern creative, the cabin is fully off-grid but features Starlink Internet, a compost toilet and heat / AC. We do provide 5 gallons drinking / cleaning water, but during the winter no sinks or showers are operable. Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY) have awesome art, shopping and plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park. 15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can be reach by taxi. The cabin is accessible by car, but may require a short hike in after heavy rain or snow. This cabin is part of the Offsite Camp family (www.offsite.camp).**There are two cabins in the photos, it's the modern one!*** No running water Nov-March! Our cabin is located on the top of a clearing in the mountains outside Wassaic. Enjoy swimming, hiking, chilling, fires and sunsets views without any light pollution or street noise. This cabin's got everything you need for an amazing few nights off-grid. You're power comes from a generator, a kitchenette for cooking, large deck and solo stove to enjoy the sunset and comfy bed with an amazing view of the night sky. Because Offsite Camp cabins are designed with the modern creative in mind, our workstations are top-notch. We've partnered with Branch Furniture to bring you an ergonomic standing desk and chair. There's a hidden whiteboard for bringing your ideas to life, and Starlink internet will keep you connected, even when you're up in the woods. Our kitchenette will keep your cravings at ease. We offer local coffee and tea complimentary to our guests, along with cooking essentials. You have a pot and pan from Caraway to get cookin' on our two burner gas range and all the cooking utensils you need for basic meals.  There is servewear for two from Barebones, and we've got a pour-over kit from our friends at VSSL and Chemex. There's also a mini-fridge to keep things cool. Since we're fully off-grid, you'll find a hi-tech composting toilet. Outside, enjoy a beverage by the fire and maybe make some s'mores on our massive deck. Hit up one of the local ski mountains for some outdoor fun, grab one of the yoga mats and greet the sunrise if you're inclined, or just relax on the Adirondack chairs overlooking the valley and the Berkshires beyond. You can watch both sunrise and sunset, and if you catch a clear night the starts are unreal. You're surrounded by state forest, so you won't see another house - it's seriously magical. ***Please note, the sauna is not currently available for use*** Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY)  have plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park.  15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can easily be reach by taxi.

Nestled on the border of Connecticut and New York, this campsite offers a tranquil escape with its beautiful scenery and seclusion. The tiny house is well-received for its comfort and panoramic views, providing a cozy shelter amidst nature. Guests appreciate the friendly and responsive hosts, who ensure a welcoming stay, though some mention the need for a few additional amenities like an outhouse. Despite these minor points, the overall experience is positive, with the lush grounds and nearby hiking trails being a highlight for many.
