There are lots of windows for a bright and airy feel. A wood stove will warm you on a cool night. Comfortable furniture, books and games can be found inside the cabin. Cooking is done outside in an open air "kitchen."

There are four trifold foam mattresses on the second floor. They come with sheets, pillow cases and blankets.

The cabin has an outdoor shower, 2 burner propane stove, and basic cooking supplies.

If you have your own robust 4WD vehicle, you can drive it to the cabin yourself, or you could hike the 10 minute uphill walk with your gear. We may offer to drive your gear up if you have a lot.

Chris was a wonderful and super responsive host. The cabin was cozy and very comfortable. The night we were there was raining and we still had a really enjoyable time. Having cookware and firewood provided was really nice as well. I would definitely suggest camping here.

Chris was a very friendly host and messaged us to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is very private with lots of space around it and the view from the porch is amazing!!

I apologize for the delayed review!. This is an amazing and private location with exceptional views. The cabin has many great touches to make your (mostly) off-grid stay a pleasure. The ability to charge your phone is much appreciated and the outdoor shower is fantastic. Our host was very pleasant and helpful. He was within reach but not over-present. Just a heads up to future campers, this trail heading up is no joke! A Jeep, 4-wheeler, or heavy duty 4x4 is reuired. A Subaru with low ground clearance will not cut it. If you don't have such a vehicle, allow your host to assist with transport. My only other suggestion for both the host and camper is to be prepared with DRY firewood. Wood is plentiful, but there is not a spot where it is kept out of the elements. All in all a great stay on a beautiful, private site.

We stayed here with another couple as an end of summer getaway. We were not disappointed. This is a lovely, cozy, rustic but comfortable cabin perched atop a hill overlooking Canandaigua Lake. Our Golden Retrievers were welcome here and they had a blast roaming and running without a road anywhere in sight. Chris was more than accommodating in helping us get our gear quickly up the hill. Utter peace and quiet surrounded us and we will not soon forget this trip.

Just stayed for the second time at the Naples cabin! It’s so beautiful in the summer but the fall was spectacular. The cabin stayed nice and toasty with the wood stove and the views were amazing. Chris and his family are so responsive, lovely hosts and are there for anything you need. Can’t wait to come back again :)

What a wonderful weekend away. It was simple, nothing crazy planned. Just some time away from the noise. We unplugged and enjoyed the simplicity of it all. The boys were “bored” at times, but then I would find them reading, playing games, catching frogs, walking in the woods, throwing rocks, being silly, etc. We did manage to venture into town and visit some of our favorite places; brew and brats, roots, and grimes glen. But the time spent at the cabin tops it all ! Relaxing, simple, away from everything but nature 🌲

Enjoy a private retreat. On a hill top over looking a lake the Naples cabin is a lovely retreat with space to dine and relax. Everything needed for a simple trip away. If you aren’t up for a walk up a hill be sure to have 4x4.

The Naples Cabin was truly an incredible getaway from all the craziness in the world right now. What an excellent chance to unplug, relax, and enjoy the surrounding nature. Chris was an attentive and knowledgeable host, quick to check in with us and inform us of all the information we needed about the property. The cabin, outdoor kitchen and shower, and front porch are all simple and cute, and met all of our needs. Sitting on the bench overlooking the amazing views, using the open-air toilet in the woods, cooking all of our meals over the campfire, enjoying the sounds of the wildlife surrounding you, these were some of the things we were lucky to experience at the cabin.
