About Summer Hills Farm

Hipcamp host Jane

We have a lovely place for tent campers on our farm, in a clearing down the path to the woods and near a stream. There's a picnic table there with benches and a fire pit. We love bike campers too....put it all on your bike and go. This is a good place to rest, relax and regroup. We can offer you some fresh eggs and milk for your breakfast while you are here.

Summer Hills Farm was a wonderful campsite. The property was beautiful and its clear that the owner, Jane, puts a lot of time into keeping it well maintained! The property features a tent camping site back in the woods where hipcampers can set up for their stay as well as a cabin site listed on AirBnB. The property has a large pond stocked with perch and small mouth bass that is open for campers to fish in. There were plenty of animals around between the goats, chickens, and cats on the property! There is a lot to do in the surrounding area, Harriet Hollister park is only a couple minutes drive with multipurpose trails for hiking and biking. It is also a quick drive up to Honeoye or Canadice lakes for paddling or fishing! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone considering the site, there is a lot to do and it is a beautiful property.

Jane's place is wonderful! Communication before the trip was quick and she met us as soon as we arrived to show us the camping space and meet the farm residents. The space was easy to get to and in a perfectly cleared space with a rocking chair and picnic table for relaxing with plenty of room to pitch a tent. There was a stream a short walking distance away for filtering water in addition to the running water at the bathhouse used for the airbnb rental (which was not booked at the time we were staying but there could be a chance of it being utilized during the stay). Plenty of recreational opportunities near the site and the finger lakes region in general, which Jane provided many fantastic recommendations; all of which we took advantage of. We would definitely stay again!
