This is a family farm on 48 acres, with access to hiking the snow mobile trails that run over a couple of hundred miles. We have horses, sheep and cows to pet and visit, a few ducks and chickens, and a rabbits.

Parking is at the house, walk in to campsite. If you need help, we will gladly load up the tractor and escort you to the sites.

Swimming at a state park/lake is a 5 mile drive, and there are other hiking trails within about a 20 minute drive. You can pitch a tent of your own, or borrow one of ours here by the house, or further out by the creek. Each campsite has a fire pit for your use.

Restroom is available just inside the house if needed, and potable water is available via pump or hose outside the house or at the barn. We have a couple of dogs on sight, and we like to visit with folks - let us know if you want to socialize or not and we'll respect that.

Your dogs are welcome, but please keep them leashed. Chickens like to run away, and dogs like to chase them.

If you are traveling with horses, please contact us! We can provide turn out or possible stalls for you, if your shots are current (proof required). *fees apply depending on requirements.

Rashid Field Farms is in a great location in a quiet wooded area. The camp sites are a short walk (or drive!) away from the house, nestled in the woods with a creek running throughout. Host Jennifer hand dyes her own wool in her home studio and gave us a tour of the property, introducing us to the animals and showing us the nearby walking trails. The site we camped at had a fire pit right by the creek and was close to other paths winding through the woods to explore. This location is also close by to Pratts Falls, a local state park that's worth a visit. The whole trip was a great little getaway, I would definitely recommend!

What a beautiful farm and plot of land. I can't speak highly enough of our stay. Livia and Jonah were extremely hospitable, showed my boyfriend and I around the farm, introduced the animals to us and made sure we were well taken care of. Jennifer was off site during our short stay but was easy to contact and connect with.

We were located at a beautiful campsite that was the furthest one away from the other sites. It is quite a walk from the car, so Livia was kind enough to help bring our stuff to the wooden bridge with the tractor, and from there we had to hike up a hill to our campsite. (Thank you so much Livia for helping us out!!!)

My advice for other campers who are booked at this further site is to pack neatly and efficiently. My boyfriend and I usually consolidate our stuff in 4 to 5 medium plastic bins. This only really works if we camp with our car nearby, and it was still somewhat inefficient and clunky to carry all that stuff over the incline past the bridge to our campsite - it really made me reconsider more than half of the stuff I thought I "needed" for camping haha! On our next trip to the farm, we're already planning to carry only our necessities in a backpack to cut down on the trips we needed to bring our stuff. A great way to practice backpacking!

The stream provided a nice spot to cool down and explore after the day, and the campsite was isolated and quiet. I couldn't have asked for anything better coming from the noisy suburbs. Can't wait for our next stay at Rashid Field Farms and saying hello to the animal friends in the morning! They are wonderful!

If you get lucky, you can see frogs and tiny fish in the water.Exploring one of the trails on the farm.Washing up!Finishing the night up by one of the two fire pits

Jennifer and Jonah were excellent hosts. They have an amazing farm with lots of land and a very private area in the woods for camping. They are ready to great you as you drive in and will take you back to the site.
Overall, a fantastic camping experience! Would definitely come back and visit again!

We booked the same evening, and arrived after midnight. Jennifer and Jonah were so accommodating. Jonah kindly, and with patience at one in the morning, lead us to choose our site. We were so tired. He helped us pick what we needed. Peace and quiet and we slept like babies! The property is beautiful. We hope to go back to camp by the creek and explore. (Next time I’ll bring wellies.)

This was my first hipcamp experience, and everything was great. Jennifer and Jonah were excellent hosts. Jennifer let us check in early and gave us a tour of the property, after just having knee surgery. Jonah introduced to all the animals. I would definitely stay here again.

The woods and farm is absolutely beautiful! Clean campsite, plenty of wood for the fireplace. The owner is very very welcoming and friendly, even offered a free camper for us to sleep in if it rains hard (didn't end up using it though).
