Learn more about this land: Nature's Nook is located at the very end of a mile long dirt road that winds along the river, perfect for nature walks. Come enjoy the beauty and privacy of Nature's Nook. We are centrally located just south of the Adirondacks and north of the Catskills, about a 45 minute drive will get you to either mountain range. The campsites are backed by woods, and there are 5 islands directly in front of the property with wildflowers galore, Bald Eagles nests, beaver huts, and more making it a kayaker's dream. We have 4 different sites to choose from. 1 Tent site, 2 tent/RV sites, and 1 glamping stay. Please scroll down to see all of our offerings. Each site offers a firepit and picnic table. Relax on the dock and enjoy some of the best sunsets the river has to offer. There are two bikes and two kayaks available to use for free. They are shared between the campsites or bring your own.  Please follow or share your photos from the campsite on Hipcamp or Instagram now! @Naturesnookcamp Campfires are permitted. Portable toilet available for campers to use. Pets welcome!

For our first Hipcamp experience, John’s site really knocked it out of the park! The wooden platform fit our 9 person tent perfectly & the site was nice and private. The outdoor shower was a 10/10 & the porta potty was nice and clean. We definitely will be back again!

Natures Nook Nautical (2009)
Camping on the water!
We had a lovely visit at The Natures Nook Nautical(2009). The room was absolutely adorable and very clean. The room had a fan which we didn’t need. But the oscillating heater was amazing! We brought an extra sleeping bag but never needed it. The mattress was super comfortable for us (firm) we are actually looking to purchase the same one. Plenty of outlets, large fire pit. As far as outdoor activity… no hiking trails but kayaking would be possible. We arrived just after a rain storm so the water was quite murky by the time we were leaving it cleared up a little bit. Overall we had a wonderful visit! Thank you John.

Place is nice and quiet, probably super awesome in summer rather than fall.

Nature's Nook Nirvana (2014)
Peaceful and well maintain
The sites were all very well maintained. I stayed in the RV/tent site and was thrilled with how level the concrete pad was so I wasn’t rolling out of bed 😉 The wooden platform was well built and quaintly overlooked the river.
