If you are looking for a serene getaway with an incredibly helpful host, this is the place for you! We stayed @ Mustang Valley for one night and can't wait to go back! The Yurt was immaculately clean with two beds (or one-Mary added the extra bed for our third guest with no trouble at all). When you walk out of the Yurt, you are embraced with a handmade coffee table, fire pit and a few steps down to your own private creek (affordable option of renting Kayaks and or Stand Up Paddle Boards which we HIGHLY RECOMMEND). You can venture off in any direction, on and off land and find endless beautiful nature to explore. When you arrive, Mary will meet you at the front gates and help you bring all of your camping essentials to one of her many cool sites to book your stay. There were a few other groups out there on the night we stayed but the space is more than large enough to feel like its just you and the wilderness. The non-light polluted skies mixed with the fireflies and sing-a-longs; you will never want to leave :) Mary will introduce you to her many awesome farm animals and even meet you at the creek with a horse ready to drink and play. We booked on a rainy weekend and Mary was kind enough to make sure our Yurt was dry inside, zipped up and ready for us to endure the elements. Our firewood that we booked was on site in crates and wrapped in plastic as to not be wet. Down to the last detail, Mary makes sure that you leave as family and feel welcome to enjoy your stay to the beat of your own drum. BOOK THIS SITE NOW!!! The best is yet to come, because a review can never truly do this place justice. Mary will also let you in on some local secrets about some of the most beautiful waterfalls, trails and local adventures. You have to be in it to win it, and this is a sure thing! Enjoy your stay!

What a beautiful ranch!! That’s the only description I can think of. Mary is a wonderful host and is a proud owner of this ranch. She will greet you with enthusiasm and also show you around the ranch to learn its history’. It’s got a very interesting story!

The pastures are beautiful and it feels like a dream waking up to horses neighing and running gleefully into the pasture. The camps that spread out well, the pitch your tent camps are on the other side of the pasture by the creek with one yurt close there too. But ours were deeper into the woods, it was so thoughtful and perfect. We had the best of all worlds and privacy. As each of us moved into our own yurt we had privacy and could meet up in two minutes. The yurts were beautifully setup all with full bed, cute pillows, planter and twinkling lights!! Bathroom was draw curtains portable bucket and sun shower. I have never used a sun shower and was fun! I get uncomfortable with bathroom situations but I could use this porta bucket fairly.

Mary is an excellent host, she is a people person and is always there to help out in any way. She let me ride her ATV back and forth the camp to drop off my camping stuff. That was awesome!! She also has amazing recommendations and do visit every single place she suggests (including a speakeasy waterfall).

Mary has such an amazing campground set up on her beautiful ranch! We were blown away by how much work she has put into creating this amazing area. The yurts are sturdy and great quality, and they have amazingly comfortable beds! Mary has decorated them to feel so cozy. Each site has a well built fire pit with chairs for enjoying an evening bonfire. There are private outdoor showers available at each site with a privacy curtain around them, perfect for rinsing off after a fun day petting the horses and goats. The woods are beautiful, and each campsite is far away from each other, providing a wonderful solitary camping experience. As you walk out of the woods, it opens up into a beautiful prairie filled with wildflowers, and if you're lucky you'll see the herd of rescue horses peacefully grazing. Mary takes incredible care of her animals and it was wonderful seeing them cage free and happily roaming the ranch, free to safely enjoy all the land they want! We were so obsessed with the sweet goats, they were all so friendly and we couldn't get enough loving in with them. If you're an animal lover, we can't recommend this camping experience enough!

Our stay at Mustang valley ranch really out did our expectations! It was a beautiful property with animals roaming free, a beautiful open meadow, a swimmable creek and to top it off an outstandingly generous and kind host. Mary was so kind and helped us with anything we needed! She has such a big heart and is kind to everyone. Thank you Mary!! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful camp site, were able to stay in one of the new yurts and also pitch a tent on the same site for a small additional fee. It was right on the creek and felt secluded, the kayaks / stand up paddle board availability was also wonderful! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Mustang Valley -- the land is beautiful, with mustangs frolicking on the open field, the goats say hello! and the creek is peaceful. Mary is a very kind and welcoming host who makes sure the campsite is very comfortable. You'll also feel good knowing that your stay helps support the Mustang Rescue and Veteran program!
