Taking to the wilderness with your favorite people is one of the most fun and rewarding things you can do. Plan an incredible group camp-out with us! We are happy to accommodate special requests, including romantic get aways, family gatherings and birthday celebrations!
After our campers have spent the day exploring our land, including well marked and groomed trails, (or our nearby 500 acre park) cook their dinner and are ready to snuggle up and chat, play cards or toast marshmallows, we provide fire rings and firewood that heighten their experience.
Access to clean, mountain water from the hose and creek. Set up your portable shower or trek to the creek and enjoy cleansing in refreshing mountain water. If the need arises the main house does have a toilet and shower to offer, upon request. We do have wi-fi access and it is free to our campers.
We do have horses on the property. You are welcome to arrange horse activity while you are here.
Yes, we do allow you to bring your own horse(s). We have an AWESOME trail course including obstacles and sensory activity stations over varied terrain. If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Kevin and Leah were so kind, waiting up late to welcome us in around midnight after a long drive. We would have liked to spend more time with the sweet horses and exploring the property, but hopefully we can return someday! This was a great experience and a safe place for us to rest during a long journey. Thank you Kevin and Leah!
Leah and Kevin were incredibly welcoming. They were super responsive on the Hipcamp site or whenever we needed to text. Once there they greeted us to explain where to park and how to get to our sites.
They allowed us to use their home bathroom whenever we needed for that extra luxury and there is also the option of going horseback riding! I would stay again. Overall great weekend.
Kevin and Leah were extremely helpful, even helped us out with some extra chairs! There are tons of spots to go hiking nearby and any essentials you may need are around the corner.
Great experience. Kevin and Leah were great hosts. The site was private while we were there, but does have potential to be less private if they had more bookings. My kids loved tromping around, petting the horses, and playing in the creek. There are a couple of cats that wonder around. My kids loved them, but they were a little too friendly if you’re not a cat lover. Overall we had a great couple of nights and would recomend this sight to others.
Kevin and Leah were great hosts. They were very helpful and they also responded very quickly to any requests or questions we had. The site was nice. Fairly close to the main road but still felt private. There is a great park to explore nearby and lots of trails to hike. We had a great time.
