Plan to get out and enjoy the FRESH MOUNTAIN AIR, CLEAN CREEK, PRIVATE TRAILS and more... Enjoy a long relaxing weekend or have a true outdoor adventure. Pitch you tent and enjoy rustic camping (glamping) at its finest on the mountain at our private retreat.

In response to the country's COVID crisis and demand from loyal campers, we will be permitting a LIMITED NUMBER of 'car/van campers'. Please contact us before booking so we can plan ahead to accomodate you.

Taking to the wilderness with your favorite people is one of the most fun and rewarding things you can do. Plan an incredible camp-out with us!  We are happy to accommodate special requests, including romantic getaways, family time and birthday celebrations!

We require all campers to adhere to all CDC guidelines, including frequent hand washing/sanitizing, social distancing, face coverings, etc.

After our campers have spent the day exploring our land, including groomed trails, (or our nearby 500 acre park) cook their dinner and are ready to snuggle up and chat, play cards or toast marshmallows, we provide fire rings and firewood (buy your bundle online now or collect your own) that heighten their experience.

Access to clean, mountain water from the hose and creek. Set up your portable shower or trek to the creek and enjoy cleansing in refreshing mountain water. FYI-no indoor access will be available during this time (2020).  We do have wi-fi access and it is FREE for campers to stay connected, while disconnecting from the hussle and bussle of their every day life.

We do have horses and ponies on the property.  You are welcome to arrange horse activity while you are here. (all equine activities are currently suspended due but will re-open later in 2020). Campers are welcome to enjoy watching the horses and ponies in their natural environment. (Please do not enter fenced areas, or the barn or open any pasture gates.) We welcome campers to participate in the hands-on feeding process in the afternoons.

Yes, we do allow you to bring your own horse(s). We have an AWESOME trail course including obstacles and sensory activity stations over varied terrain. Any horse(s) coming on to the property are required to have coggins, rabies and vaccines within the last 12 months. Proof of coggins, rabies and vaccines are required at check in. We do charge an additional separate fee for a private pasture for your horse(s). Payment for your horse is required at check in, NOT online.  If you are planning to bring your horse(s) please CALL us and make arrangements in advance.  Horse hay can be purchased on-site.

Yes, we do welcome pets. We have two large, fully equipped kennels/runs for those times your dog isn't with you. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing a pet with you.

Bonus: Access to Local Food- While it seems like you have left the world behind, we are 5 minutes from the local grocery, diner, deli and pizza place. Barton Orchard is also a 5 minute drive. Tymor Park is 2 miles down the road. You'll find 2 swimming pools, more hiking trails, a lake for boating (kyack, canoe, paddle boat), volley ball courts and more.

(Please note that each tent takes up 1 site. The base price is for 1 tent site w/ 1-2 people. (oversized tents like a 12 person tent require 2 tent sites) Add' people in that tent are $10/per night. If you have more than 1 tent, each tent pays base price w/ 1-2 people. Add' people in any tent are $10/per night additional. If you are camping as a group, you can choose to put your groups tents in the same general area or at a distance. Please ask any questions before booking. We do our best to honor special requests. Some sites are accessible by wheelchair.)  *** A short list of questions will be sent to campers to confirm they have NOT been exposed or are at risk of COVID 19. ALL campers MUST be healthy and must not have been exposed to COVID 19 AND have been self quarantined for a period exceeding 25 days for the safety of everyone.

*** No outside firewood may be brought into the farm. Some wood is not meant to be burned and gives off dangerous fumes. No chainsaws may be used on the farm to cut down our trees. A firewood bundle purchase is enough wood for one typical evening campfire. If you need more, you may purchase additional firewood on-site.

Kevin and Leah were so kind, waiting up late to welcome us in around midnight after a long drive. We would have liked to spend more time with the sweet horses and exploring the property, but hopefully we can return someday! This was a great experience and a safe place for us to rest during a long journey. Thank you Kevin and Leah!

Leah and Kevin were incredibly welcoming. They were super responsive on the Hipcamp site or whenever we needed to text. Once there they greeted us to explain where to park and how to get to our sites.
They allowed us to use their home bathroom whenever we needed for that extra luxury and there is also the option of going horseback riding! I would stay again. Overall great weekend.

Great experience. Kevin and Leah were great hosts. The site was private while we were there, but does have potential to be less private if they had more bookings. My kids loved tromping around, petting the horses, and playing in the creek. There are a couple of cats that wonder around. My kids loved them, but they were a little too friendly if you’re not a cat lover. Overall we had a great couple of nights and would recomend this sight to others.

Kevin and Leah were great hosts. They were very helpful and they also responded very quickly to any requests or questions we had. The site was nice. Fairly close to the main road but still felt private. There is a great park to explore nearby and lots of trails to hike. We had a great time.
