Beautiful Views is aptly named! I got to experience a variety of views: countryside scenes, sunset, lots of stars, and foggy grassy hills. I chose to take a short steep walk up the hill and pitch my tent at the top. I found a nice flat spot at the top near a bunch of wildflowers and apple trees. The road at the bottom of the hill is quiet, the animals in the area are not. I got to listen to various owl calls during the night. Part of the reason I chose this area to camp in was the opportunity to photograph the stars in a less light polluted area. I was surprised by how well I was able to make out the Milky Way. If you are looking for a place to stargaze, book this site around the time of a new moon, and you won't be disappointed. Overall, I had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

My tent's color sorta matched all the goldenrod that was around. The walk up to the top of the hill is steep, but well worth it.I got to enjoy some serious stargazing. With just some hints of light pollution to the south, I highly recommend this area for observing the night sky. It was nice being up so high on the hill and having such a nice panoramic view.
