We are open!  Ask about our Organic apples in the fall and pasture raised heritage meats and eggs available all year round. Visit majesticfarm .com online for detail and check us out on instagram @ majesticfarmheritage to get a sense of the property.

Majestic Farm is a safe place. We welcome all members of the community, and emphasize that we are safe space for BIPOC and for members of the LGBTQI community. All people are beautiful.

This is a beautiful site overlooking our orchard. There are huge boulders to sit and climb on as well. We just installed our newest tiny house, perfect and cozy for an intimate weekend. There is a full size mattress and some seating in the house. There is a picnic table and camp fire pit to cook and enjoy. Our pigs pasture nearby the site, so you might glance some large and small pigs roaming about near the rocks. About a three minute walk (you'll pass on your way to the site) there is a very remote and private shared outdoor shower, outhouse, wash sink with potable water and spot you can plug in to charge near the farm house. This is an active farm - so you can enjoy spending time among the orchard trees and observing the chickens and pigs. Please bring bedding and towels (if you require them - let us know). Our house is almost visible from the site over the rocks and hills, a few hundred feet away - however the walk from parking to camp does not come near any other sites, houses etc.

We have a tandem bicycle available for rent as well for $20 a day. You can ride down our road (about a mile) or all the way into Mountain Dale to grab a slice of gourmet pizza at "The Dale"

This is a very woodsy site. It is not a hotel or sterile feel. It is out in nature, there are sticks, rocks, leaves, bugs, rain, mud, and all of the camp type things - often even inside your rental space. We have a little squirrel that has been seen visiting in the tiny house. The outhouse is an outhouse - so it is not like a hotel room bathroom. You will experience sounds, sites and happenings including animals such as  deer, bald eagles, turtles, porcupines, beavers, chipmunks, squirrels, frogs, toads, snakes and more. This area does also have bears & coyotes. We advise not to leave food out at night. We recommend bug spray or candles as there are many flies and other insects that enjoy buzzing around. As we are an active farm you will likely hear rooster crow, a tractor hum, geese and ducks and pigs as you explore the property. Sometimes during the day we do run the tractor to mow or spray the orchard (organic actually involves lots of SAFE spraying of clay, nee and natural products to protect the apples). You should expect a rustic, woody, campsite type feel - not a typical air b n b type rental apartment.

Please carry out what you carry in and leave it clean for the next group. We clean between all visitors - and are currently keeping quite a distance to protect you, the site and everybody involved.

The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindale, @ visitmountaindale, which has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, a cafe bar that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, @ Baandme, A Vietnamese Restaurant, @ thedaleNY a pizza restaurant and bar ran by Wayside Cider.

For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, goumet deli and cofee 6 days a week (closed Mondays) and a little wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @ ambikaboutique and get some hand crochet bikinis or angora hats and vintage clothing. Check out a full herbal apothecary @ witcheyhandmade, and @ yinspiritualcenter along with a few local art galleries, a coffee shop and so much more!

There is excellent hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Also Bashakill trails (and conveniently a vineyard with tastings and events right nearby). Your'e also about 30 minutes away from super cute fun larger towns and attractions like New Paltz, Livingston Manor, and tons of incredible Catskill hiking and nature opportunities. There's an excellent Farmers Market on Saturday's in Rock Hill from 10-1pm from June to September also. Come find us there!

As always - if you have any questions, issues, concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out - we are here to help!

I loved this little spot! The hosts were responsive and the campsite, toilet, and shower were incredibly clean. The boulders surrounding the camp offered ample protection from the wind and privacy from the other campsite down the hill in the woods. The pig area next door this was just a small small woodland/meadow that offered some privacy from the main house. Though the path to the campsite was a bit rough from farm equipment moving through recently, the path was short and passable. There were plenty of flat spots in the meadow to camp. A grilling grate at the campfire made cooking the farm's homemade sausage rounds incredibly easy and super tasty.

Thanks so much for hosting me! I'll have to come back during apple season!

This campsite was beautiful! We enjoyed walking around the farm and orchard. The kids had a blast climbing the boulders and seeing with the animals.
The spot is beautiful at sunset and has a nice big firepit to enjoy through the evening.
The bathroom and shower are great.

Loved our stay here! The place was beautiful and we really appreciated the animals here. Outdoor shower was a fun experience - everything was really clean and it was a great overall "glamping" experience. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to purchase some of the meat they offer to cook on the outdoor grill / firepit!!! It was so delicious. They were wonderful and so welcoming to us. If you're renting the tandem bike to ride into town, be aware that you have to ride back from town and that means there are lots of uphills haha!

The experience was overall very pleasant and proved to be very relaxing. The only issue was the amount of flies that were encountered in the tiny house. Of course, the owners provided a fly swatter, but there were still way too many flies. Other than that it was a very trnaquil place and I would highly recommend going there.

We had such a lovely time here, thank you! The little hut is adorable and the view of the orchard over the boulders is just beautiful. Very COVID safe and complete privacy. The eggs were delicious as well. Basically camping with a bed! Highly recommend this stay! Prepare for lots of flies :)

Absolutely beautiful property and a great location! Perfect for checking out nearby towns like Livingston Manor and Narrowsburg. The Tiny house was super cute and the fire pit was a nice touch. While I didn’t expect the bathroom to be much, it did seem like it needed to be tended to and was super smelly so we opted to take advantage of any and every public bathroom that we came across. The mattress was also really uncomfortable so we didn’t get much sleep. Overall, nice little glamping spot but wish we didn’t pay so much for it.

Response from Majestic, the Host, on August 2nd, 2020

Hello, please remember to contact your hosts if you ever have issues as we all strive to give our campers the most fantastic stay and aim to have everybody feel the value was there. You never reached out to us to suggest there were any problems - it was 80-90 degrees so the outhouse has its moments - particularly following you or another guest utilizing it - however if you let us know we can service more often that day to ensure everybody is content. The key to having a great stay is letting us know what would make it so - we are super receptive and responsive - so perhaps next time try talking to your hosts! We also made special accommodations for you immediately when you asked - surprised you didn't bother to mention your concerns. Good luck on your next travel experience.
