We are open!  Ask about our Organic apples in the fall and pasture raised heritage meats and eggs available all year round. Visit majesticfarm .com online for detail and check us out on instagram @ majesticfarmheritage to get a sense of the property.

Majestic Farm is a safe place. We welcome all members of the community, and emphasize that we are safe space for BIPOC and for members of the LGBTQI community.

Be sure to message us if you would like to purchase firewood ($10 for one night), eggs (fresh farm eggs $6), meats or apples (listed on our website- majesticfarm . com), or rent our tandem bicycle ($15 day). You can message, we will leave your items for contact free pick-up and you can pay cash or venmo us later.

Hike five to ten minutes into the forest to our most remote camping site. Pitch your tent in a deeply wooded area overlooking a cliff . Beautiful private spot.  About an 8 minute walk (you'll pass on your way to the site) there is a very remote and private shared outdoor shower, outhouse, wash sink with potable water and spot you can plug in to charge near the farm house. This is an active farm - so you can enjoy spending time among the orchard trees and observing the chickens and pigs. This site includes a fire pit and picnic table. We can provide wood for $10 but it is deeply wooded, so you can also forage for wood all around. You would bring all your own tent gear and cooking items. There is a grate to put over the fire for cooking.

This is a very woodsy site. It is not a hotel or sterile feel. It is out in nature, there are sticks, rocks, leaves, bugs, rain, mud, and all of the camp type things. The outhouse is an outhouse - so it is not like a hotel room bathroom. You will experience sounds, sites and happenings including animals such as  deer, bald eagles, turtles, porcupines, beavers, chipmunks, squirrels, frogs, toads, snakes and more. This area does also have bears & coyotes. We advise not to leave food out at night. We recommend bug spray or candles as there are many flies and other insects that enjoy buzzing around. As we are an active farm you will likely hear rooster crow, a tractor hum, geese and ducks and pigs as you explore the property. Sometimes during the day we do run the tractor to mow or spray the orchard (organic actually involves lots of SAFE spraying of clay, nee and natural products to protect the apples). You should expect a rustic, woody, campsite type feel - not a typical air b n b type rental apartment.

Please carry out what you carry in and leave it clean for the next group. We clean between all visitors - and are currently keeping quite a distance to protect you, the site and everybody involved.

The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindale, @ visitmountaindale, which has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, a cafe bar that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, @ Baandme, A Vietnamese Restaurant, @ thedaleNY a pizza restaurant and bar ran by Wayside Cider.

For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, goumet deli and cofee 6 days a week (closed Mondays) and a little wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @ ambikaboutique and get some hand crochet bikinis or angora hats and vintage clothing. Check out a full herbal apothecary @ witcheyhandmade, and @ yinspiritualcenter along with a few local art galleries, a coffee shop and so much more!

There is excellent hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Also Bashakill trails (and conveniently a vineyard with tastings and events right nearby). Your'e also about 30 minutes away from super cute fun larger towns and attractions like New Paltz, Livingston Manor, and tons of incredible Catskill hiking and nature opportunities. There's an excellent Farmers Market on Saturday's in Rock Hill from 10-1pm from June to September also. Come find us there!

As always - if you have any questions, issues, concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out - we are here to help!

This camp site is very private. It sits on a large ledge over looking acres of forest. There’s a marked trail to the site - about a five minute walk from parking. Many good places to set a tent at the site. Nice small town just a ten minute drive if you don’t want to cook over a camp fire. Hot shower and super clean out house was a plus. It’s on a farm so lots of chickens wandering around and various forest sounds, but from the camp site it’s like you are miles from civilization and quite deep in the woods. Lots of wildlife around the site . There’s a little trail to the site so if you arrive after dark definitely need flashlight/lantern. Loved the whole vibe and would certainly go back again!

Excellent site! Super woodsy, but so close to running water, sink and shower! Nature and wildlife all around. Very wooded area - recommend flashlights and lanterns as pretty dark in the woods. Host was super communicative and helpful but otherwise it was like there was nobody around for miles. Plenty of room at the site for multiple tents. Loved it, will head back again this summer!

Majestic Farm was better than we expected. The site was secluded enough that we could not hear the other sites but close enough to the drive/parking that we could access our cars. The communal sink, bathroom, and shower was a great amenity. It was clean and kept up very nicely. Communication was excellent and the hosts had firewood at our site. The farm is located about 10 minutes away from the main town. I would highly recommend this site.

Majestic is the perfect name for this place because that's the exact kind of experience we had. This particular site was like having a whole forest to yourself, while still having everything only a few minutes away. The farm is gorgeous, the outdoor shower in the morning felt great, and the privy felt as clean, safe and homey as an outhosue possibly could. Mountain Dale is a great town, and the hosts added a number of thoughtful touches to help you enjoy your stay. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

Beautiful property, delicious apples and eggs, and lovely private campsite. Bathroom and sink are pretty far away from the site tho so be prepared for that.

Our group of seven had the best time and plenty of space for our four tents at the beautiful Majestic Overlook. It was easy to get to from NYC and while it’s close to Sara and Brett’s main home its supremely secluded and quiet. Incredibly lovely nature/wild life sounds at night. We brought a lot of stuff with us (novice campers) so bear that in mind as its about a 5-7 min walk into Overlook camping area from where you’ll park. Our hosts were there if we needed them and everything is pretty self explanatory and easily accessible. Directions to get there were clear, outhouse (clean and pretty!), shower and sinks are outside away from the camp so load up on water you may need to avoid extra trips in and out of the site. We took a trip into nearby town Mountain Dale and enjoyed the hike to Neversink River as well. DEFINITELY recommend, it was a short two night stay but very relaxing with plenty to do and not do! PS their dog Max is the sweetest (there are three?) and def stop by their shop, we got their organic eggs and meats to go!
