Yes!! This is an actual little island that's only accessible by boat, but no worries because our host picked us up at the Upper St. Regis Boat Landing. There you can park your car before heading off, don't forget to pack ALL your gear, sleeping bags, food ect. The island and the surrounding area is absolutely breathtaking, despite the fact that your in the island the canoe that our hosts provided us with allowed us to visit a few of the other areas around the lake with ease. Camping in an island is truly an amazing experience.
