Pitch your tent on the back 40 acres of a working goat farm.  The 12 x 16 tent platform backs up to the mature hedgerow of maples and oaks for afternoon shade, and the campsite overlooks Ithaca's Inlet Valley.  The platform is just a 4 minute walk to the main house, and you'll have complete privacy.

Lisa is a perfect host--respecting one's privacy and also willing to share what she is doing with here beautiful mohair goats. She even has warm mittens and socks for sale! I look forward to staying there again.

What a perfect weekend! We really appreciate Lisa! The camping site (with a platform) was beautiful at the top of a little hill. Lisa was very communicative and thoughtful - she offerred to help find the site on her property, and she showed us around her farm!
We met alpacas, sheep, and many goats. She also has incredible hats, gloves, mittens, and socks that she dyed from the wool from her animals.
She was a pleasure to talk with and the site was secluded and everything we could have hoped for.
We would be delighted to go again. :)

The site was well kept, private, cozy and gorgeous. We witnessed a breathtaking sunset from the site and loved being surrounded by trees. The stargazing after dark was beautiful. The next morning, Lisa gave us an unforgettable tour of the farm and her shop. I highly recommend a stay here!

We loved staying here. We booked it the same day and it was perfect. There were thousands of fireflies at the site, it was peaceful and private. Lisa gave us a tour of the goat farm, showing us the babies, alpacas and her shop. We were close to Robert H. Treeman where we hiked the gorge/rim trail and many other hikes are just minutes away. Highly recommend staying at the Laughing Goat Fiber Farm and we will definitely go again!
