Almost 7 acres abutting state BLM forest! Cleared tent set up site and fire ring right by the road! Parking is in a round about approx 100' away. There is an overgrown driveway that a 4x4 can park in on the property. I am currently in the process of expanding and improving it! At night, listen to the trees whisper in the wind and the coyotes howl! Monstrous deer about here!

Having the public land behind the property is like having access to 1000's of acres of hunting grounds. A creek is on the property in the back, there is a fresh, public spring to fill up jugs at down Hoag-Childes Rd where it meets South Rd. There is a pond in the meadow, filled with trout and sunnies, requires waders to fish, due to it being a former beaver pond. I am in the process of building a mini walkway/dock!  Hiking, biking, and fishing are all fun summer activities! In the winter, snowmobilers abound! Many meet at the local watering hole, Balsam Inn. Not to mention the awesome hunting! Toilet facilities are primitive, #1 is au naturale, #2 is a five gallon bucket, toilet seat, and plastic bag liner to be packed out. I am in the process of obtaining a composting toilet. This has always worked just fine for us, as this is CAMPING!
