Blue stone quarry was straight out of a dream. Our host Meagan greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. We could hear the beavers and deer in the morning and the owls and frogs at night. The lake and stones and forest all coming together made for this place to be romantic and whimsical. There are many different little places to explore and climb, and for the summertime I'm sure would be the perfect secluded swimming hole (definitely too cold at this time of year) The fire ring is placed at a perfect distance away from the lake. And our host Meagan had already set up wood in the fire so it was ready to go for us to make our potatoes and peppers. In the morning we awoke to the fog coming up off the lake and deer near by!

We had a great time in this secluded little piece of the woods. It was the perfect distance to Kingston, Saugerties and Woodstock. The water was a beautiful backdrop.

Easy access to Kingston, Woodstock, and Saugerties! Area is private, but signage is non-exist, so finding the site is hard. Do not arrive at dusk or later. Expensive for the experience.

We stayed at a hilltop above the lake. It was beautiful and the foliage was perfect this time of year. We enjoyed looking for frogs near the lake! The location was pretty great too! Pretty close to Woodstock and hikes in the Catskills! Meagan was extremely helpful and would text us recommendations throughout the trip!

Beautiful spot to be among the leaf-changing trees of fall! Simple instructions, great space with plenty of room to set up camp, roam the grounds by light and enjoy the campfire by dark.

The campsite was breathetaking when I arrived. I got to use the 2nd campsite and it was very beautiful. The blue stone quarry is nestled amid several ponds so it’s got a lot wonderful sights. The area was excellent for tent camping, having some good spaces to lay down a tent. The fire pit was well adequate we did a fair amount of cooking on it.

Meagan as a host was wonderful to work with. She responded very promptly whenever I had a question and was very accomating. She even showed us around when we got there so we knew our boundaries. She was very pleasant to work with.

I took my friends out to this for a 50th birthday for one of them and everybody had a blast! I would gladly rent this site again. It brings back all the joys I had of camping in the Boy Scouts.
