Hawk Ridge Off-Grid Cabin
Hawk Ridge is truly a work of art as a cabin. So well built, so beautiful to stay in. It's very open and roomy, would definitely be enough room for a couple of families is you were planning a summer or fall getaway! Lots of space out back and in the field near by for even more tents. The whole place is so so cozy. It's totally off-grid, so there's no running water or electricity but there are gas lamps (which just makes it super cozy!) and theres a pump for the sink that uses rain water for washing dishes. There is a gas stove which was GREAT, and a wood burning stove that we used at night when it got chilly. Ruey was so sweet, and met us at the cabin to show us around and then let us enjoy ourselves for the rest of our stay also. The outhouse is also SUPER clean, very big. Great porch space for meals, or hanging out in the big hammock. It's very secluded, very private, and VERY beautiful. The sun sets right in front also so the light is stellar too. Couldn't be cozier. We can't wait to come back!

Hawk Ridge Off-Grid Cabin
My girlfriend and I decided to come up here last minute for Memorial Day Weekend after a previously planned trip got cancelled. Huey was not only incredibly accommodating, quick to respond, and helpful with questions/concerns/suggestions. The property was absolutely gorgeous and had a complete handbook for any and all questions - during our stay she was always available on cell. The house itself was incredibly clean and had everything needed to have a comfortable stay. We were hesitant about the outhouse and lack of electricity, but it actually made the stay a lot more quaint and romantic in the sense that we felt off the grid, yet incredibly comfortable. Cooperstown itself is so lovely and fun with plenty of restaurants and the property itself is only 15 minutes out for an easy ride in. Will 100% be coming back!!!
