10+ stars!! Far exceeded expectations of a simple campsite. While it is advertised with little to no amenities, Jo goes above and beyond to accommodate and welcome guests.

We were greeted with a dozen fresh organic eggs from the free range chickens on the property, and Jo escorted us through the property to the campsite location. It was a bit of a walk through bumpy grass to get there, and Jo assisted us by providing a wagon to carry in our belongings. We were also provided with a map of the property and detailed instructions about the property markers so we could navigate on our own.

We were pleased to have a simple humanure privy (a bucket with sawdust as the “toilet,” a bucket of fresh sawdust to cover it up, and toilet paper) right on site so we didn’t have to travel far to go to the bathroom.

Although there is a well on site, Jo provided a couple gallons of water right at the campsite to use for fires and any other needs. There was also ample firewood to start a campfire!

We did not stay for long, and only regret that we didn’t have time to walk some of the trails on the property. It is lovingly maintained, very peaceful, and just what we needed for a quiet and rugged getaway. Thank you so much, Jo! It was such a pleasure meeting you.

What a beautiful spot! The campsites are very secluded and there’s a stunning variety of plants, flowers (and animals) along the trails that lead you around the property Jo is a wonderfully accommodating and knowledgeable host; providing us with firewood and fresh eggs, recommendations for local attractions, and even giving us a tour of her property. What a wonderful time. Cannot recommend more!

We had a great time staying at this site and it was a perfect jumping off point for our trip to Cooperstown! Jo is so sweet and hospitable and made sure that we had everything we needed. She encouraged us to call her at any time if we had any issues and she even brought us some eggs to cook in the morning. During the day, there are chickens out in the yard so that was kinda cool. She also has a friendly German Shepard. There are some really sweet views from the campsite-we caught a nice sunrise. We definitely want to return! <3

Jo’s property is beautiful and spacious with expansive views of upstate New York. We did not stay at the actual campsite as we slept in our Jeep but she had a gravel driveway with a turnaround that worked perfectly for car camping. The compost toilet was a bonus (it’s enclosed on three sides with an open front that faces away from the property) and Jo even provided us two gallons of water and some farm fresh eggs in the morning from her chickens! Ace, her dog, is very friendly but he does bark/jump for anyone that may not be as comfortable around bigger dogs. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend Jo’s property!

Jo’s campground was beautiful. Very well kept and private. It’s quite a walk from the parking area but Jo was extremely helpful. She had a large wagon for us to carry our camp gear to the site. She was very informative and provided water and detailed instructions. I would absolutely recommend her site for camping.

Great spot and lovely host! Quiet, pretty, loved the well. Highly recommend. Only issue was lack of shade on a very hot day, so I recommended to bring some umbrella or canvas or other form of shade.

We had such a relaxing peaceful stay at EarthSong. Jo greated us and gave us a thorough tour of her land, showing us all the awesome hiking trails through the area. The campsite was wonderfully maintained and had plenty of level spots for tents, a well built fire ring, and a platform with firewood and a composting toilet available. Jo even provided a pamphlet with a map of the property and good-to-know information to make sure we had a good camping stay. We lucked out and visited in time for blueberries to just start ripening, and it was great getting to enjoy a few handfuls of them. Jo was also kind enough to give us some eggs from her chickens, which were perfect for camp breakfast. We enjoyed the solitude and the nature that surrounded us out on this beautiful land.

Jos property is beautiful and the perfect place to pitch a tent. She has a very friendly dog Ace who meets you and a wonderful flock of chickens. We loved the accessibly to the well as well as getting to pick some blueberries and blackberries. Definitely a place I would stop at again if you're looking for a tranquil place to get away.

Earthsong is a real treat of a camping place. Up in the hills of farm country, but a really nice secluded wooded spot. Very nice fire ring and area where water and fire wood will await, along with farm fresh eggs. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't particularly buggy, and the site is very well kept. Since i was only stopping over for a night, i didn't get to fully explore the trails and land, but I would absolutely come back!
