A 1915 farm that was once a bed and breakfast, is now a small family farm featuring goats, cows, chickens, and rabbits. Don't worry though, camping is well away from the animals in the back 2/3's of the property. In the summer we boast spectacular fireflies and gorgeous colors in the fall! We are located about a half an hour from Niagara Falls and 5 miles south of Lake Ontar

We had such a wonderful stay at Dwyer Family Farm! The campsite was tucked along the woods on the back part of the farm, giving us peace and quiet and letting us appreciate the beauty of the woods. The site was well maintained and in great shape; there was a table, a fire ring, and benches available for camper use. We were easily able to park our 21 foot camper at the site, and there were plenty of level spots perfect for tents. We got a great tour of the farm and the animals from Moira, the hosts daughter. We also enjoyed exploring the woods and snacking on the wild black raspberries that were ripe.
Worth it for the fireflies alone!
Spectacular fireflies! Lovely site and lovely woods. Our kids had a blast meeting the animals and the hosts were very friendly. We enjoyed the trail around the property (and many berries found on the trail). The sites are a good ways away from the road, but there was some noise from cars - didn't bother us at all. The water source is a little ways away, so you may want to bring a bucket. We're looking forward to returning!
Beautiful stay by niagara
David was a fantastic host and our site was perfect for our needs (camping cross country across the US). Fire wood, composting toilet, waste disposal and potable water. And a firefly light show after dark. And adorable baby animals. What more could you want!
Wonderful camping experience!
We had a great time at this campsite! Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, and we got an excellent tour of their animals and gardens - even got a few homegrown cucumbers! The two sites both seemed great, and the composting toilet was clean and well-maintained. Honestly, the whole experience was worth it for the number of fireflies we saw at night - amazing!! Our girls also loved the wild blackberries and black raspberries by the trails and campsite.
Only tip I'd give to future campers is that the water source is a bit of a walk away from the campsites, so you might want to bring a bucket or similar.
Lovely secluded camp site off the beaten track. Wooded surroundings give a wilderness feel. The fireflies lit up the woods like Christmas trees! It was magnificent. Easy jaunt to Niagara Falls and the surrounding creeks for kayaking. Shout out to Maggie’s breakfasts at the diner across the road.
Friendly farm family
Site 2 is very private, surrounded by the woodlot of the farm (including yummy berries!). The composting outhouse is wonderful, much better than many state parks. I enjoyed the trails through the woodlot on my morning coffee stroll. I slept soundly despite some highway noise. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved the private spot in the woods, access to a compostable toilet was appreciated. We got introduced to all the animals when we did a little tour of the farm, which I loved. Many hikes in the area as well as Niagara Falls. I recommend hiking along the Niagara river to devil’s whirlpool.
