We stayed on the far side of the pond this weekend. Although we had a bit of rain, it was a great experience. The site was very private, there were trails running all over the property and the pond was clean and perfect for a quick dip. Our hosts were quick to share a tip on what to do and did their best to make sure we had everything we needed.

Awesome place. Great people, cool pond.
Not much cell signal, but wifi was very good.
Bubba was great getting us settled in, offering us a bunch of options for where we could setup. The pond was deliciously refreshing at the end of the day.
Great hospitality, country charm
Sharon and Bubba are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Their pups Zeke, Montana and Freda are great hosts too! The views from the pond are tranquil and you will feel at peace on their land. The hiking paths are an added bonus. While at times there are other campers here the sites are spaced far enough apart that you feel like you have the whole pond to yourself. There is a clean porta-potty and water area. Easy drive to Ithaca but a country feel. We highly recommend!
This is a perfect spot to camp where you feel very safe and secluded as well. The host gave us the Pine forest spot, and it was so beautiful, shady and warm , especially in this hot summer.
This place is a very good place for group campers as well. One big advantage is that, you can enjoy a pond view as well as a beautiful hill view. Also the host allowed us to park the car nearby, which was very convenient.
Regarding amenities, the only thing which was so uncomfortable is the toilet facility (portopotty) near the pond. One thing is, it is very far away, from our spot. And we were shocked to see a snake inside the portopotty.
Even though it is small, When we were concerned about the snake inside the portopotty, the host was very negligent about it, that was something disappointing. So in our whole camp, we didn't use the campsite toilet. Every time to take a loo, we went near a gas station nearby.
The website mentions - "If campers need a shower or indoor toilet please get permission from your hosts to use the house". But we were not allowed to use the indoor toilet. It is understandable, if it is for the COVID situation.
Overall the campsite was very good for its beautiful view and awesome stay.
We had an amazing stay with aharon and Bubba. Swimming in the pond and hanging with the pups were our two highlights. Would highly recommend this site!
Sharon was super helpful with directions & accommodations. Very thorough with helping us navigate our way there. Very beautiful well kept spot with a lovely view of the rolling hills, we arrived at sunset and it was so peaceful. We appreciated her hiking recommendations & had a great time checking out Taughannock Falls!

Good choice on Taughannock and Two Goats...two of my favorite places! It was great to meet you and glad you enjoyed your stay.
Sharon and Bubba were very generous hosts! We camped on the far side of the pond, and it was very quiet. Even though there were other guests there that weekend as well, we had no problem feeling as though we had our own private experience. The pond and view was beautiful, and Bubba even rescued us when we got stuck in the mud when we leaving.

Thank you for the feedback. We improved the paths to the sites . Glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will come back again.
Sharon and Bubba were great hosts. Bubba came by to let us know where the amenities were and made sure we were taken care of. They’ve made a beautiful spot.

Fantastic spot! Bubba was super helpful and let us park the van in the shade, close enough to plugin. It was a scorcher of a day so we took advantage of the pond... which was amazing! Clean, refreshing, relaxing with fantastic views. There are a couple lovely hiking trails that take you around the property and through the woods. I'm a dog lover and the pups were very friendly. Loved it!

Glad you got to enjoy our pond during the hot weather. Great photos! Thanks for posting.
