Welcome to Celestial Meadow, where you can escape the stresses of life in style and comfort. This beautiful bell tent is set on a private meadow on eighteen acres of nature. The tent is furnished with a table, comfy chair, full-sized bed, and decorated with a cosy vintage feel. The full sized mattress sleeps two, and an additional single mattress that folds into a chair can sleep a third. Electricity is provided, as well as lamps, a kettle, a fan and wifi for those who want to feel socially distant without feeling off the grid.

For the full glamping experience, treat yourself to the bedding add on: 100% cotton sheets, king size duvet and freshly laundered vintage blankets for cosy nights around the fire or picnicking in comfort.

Gaze at the stars around the fire pit or grill on the BBQ by the picnic table as you unwind amongst the alder and blueberry bushes, soft grass and scent of yarrow and other herbs. The handmade Caribbean hammock is the epitome of relaxation, and elevates naps to a whole new level.

Additional Amenities:

• 5-gallon water tank (can be refilled with the shower hose)

• Outdoor shower (solar heat- warm during the day)

• Compost toilet (private and secluded for your comfort)

• Space to pitch two extra tents, book it as an extra.

• Firewood available to buy by the bundle or unlimited, in extra

The meadow is fairly close to a small country road so you will hear the occasional car, but the sounds of the frogs, crickets and cicadas will be what mesmerizes you. Also, this being wooded land, deer are common, but generally keep their distance. However, with deer, there are ticks. There haven’t been many this summer, but check yourself daily and keep your tweezers handy.

Black Bears are rarely spotted, but it’s always great outdoor etiquette to store all food in your car or the cooler provided,  and not to store any food in the tent.

Now let’s talk about Mountain Dale, instagram @visitmountaindale. A charming, artsy village with its center only a two minute drive away. Here you will find the best sourdough pizza in the Catskills at “The Dale.” Next to that you can purchase farm fresh produce and meats for the grill at “Forage & Gather.” Their breakfast sandwiches and smoothies are famous. Or visit the charming outdoor creekside bar BBQ and brunch spot “High Voltage” (now open 7 days per week). For special vintage pieces in all natural fabrics check out Ambika’s. Witchey Handmade has amazing herbs and ethical skin care goods. And Yin Spiritual Art Shop has a trove of treasures, and the occasional sound healing.

Along the village runs the Rail Trail, which is excellent for hiking or biking along the scenic reservoir. the hiking in Shawanagunks is spectacular, and the trails along the Neversink River provide beautiful swimming holes.

I love food, hiking, the arts and vintage shopping, and am always happy to answer any additional questions you have about things to do in the surrounding area.

What can I say other than “celestial” is a fitting name for this quaint space. As a city boy, I don’t usually feel comfortable in tents, but it’s actually nicer than my real home. Interior design is warm, inviting and quietly tasteful. The fire pit was amazing. We opted to cook on it, rather than the available BBQ grill.

I hadn’t laid in a hammock in years. If you aren’t mindful, you’ll find yourself doing nothing or half sleeping all day. Except when it rains, which it did. But the tent stayed perfectly dry. The pitter patter of the droplets was comforting in a weird way.

Although I don’t usually camp, I love to hike. And Bianca recommended some that were glorious. She also recommended the Creek Bar nearby. As the name implies, it’s on a creek. And everyone wore masks and sat apart.

Overall, our host was super nice, and respectful of our need for solitude. She was available when we did need her. I highly recommend this gem of a place.

As a side note: Her dog Cosmo is the cutest, friendliest ever.

I had a really wonderful stay at Celestial Meadows, which was the perfect combination of rustic and luxurious. The tent was so cozy and inviting, with a real bed that was super comfortable . I made good use of the camp and bbq set, which had everything I needed to cook a grear dinner over the fire. After dinner I relaxed in the hammock, listened to the owls and did some stargazing. The shower was rustic but got the job done. Bianca, the host, was very friendly but also unobtrusive. She recommended a cute cafe in the village of Mountain Dale with excellent coffee and breakfast. I definitely plan to come back soon, it was the perfect getaway.

My wife and I took our two year old for a getaway, and it was an all around great time.

I highly recommend purchasing the add-ones because aside from towels, clothes, and the food you want cook, you don’t need to bring anything else. Bianca provided us with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner each day.

The site was very kid friendly and perfect for a toddler. There was plenty of room for another family or several other adults.

Bianca had the whole site ready to go, so we could hit the ground running once we arrived. The yurt has a very comfy and clean living space with a king (?) size bed in it. My wife and I slept comfortably with our son on it. She even left out a smore kit for us that was a huge hit.

If you wanted to take a break and hit the town, apparently Mountain Dale is up and coming. There are several restaurants and bars. I highly recommend getting some sourdough pizza at The Dale. Legit some of the best pizza I’ve had. There is also a small grocer so you can pick up anything you forgot to bring. This is all 5 minutes away from the camp site.

While we couldn’t take advantage because of our son, Bianca offers a bike rental. I’d take advantage because there is a beautiful rails-to-trails in the town. I’m not sure how far it goes, but you could probably kill a couple of hours riding on the trail that runs along a small river/stream. We walked just a small portion of the trail without issue.

This was such a pleasant find, and I definitely plan on coming back.

The photos do not do this campsite justice. Everything was perfectly organized and designed to accommodate my group perfectly. Tent was a 10/10 with the pull out couch and a bed which fit 2 people. overall the campsite set up was beautifully done especially the campfire and shower were my favorite things about this place! Bianca was an amazing and friendly host she stayed in contact with me throughout my entire stay and made sure we were enjoying ourselves! This place is also BIPOC AND LGBTQ friendly which is always a plus!! The area is also very nice we visited the yin art studio, crystal connections (super good energy and very friendly in there) the pasta restaurant and many more hidden gems if you really look ( I suggest coming on weekends bc most of the places are open during those days). Our first time camping was a dream because of this place would definitely stay here again.

Bianca’s site was beautiful. I took my boyfriend here for a *socially distant* birthday weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Even though the tent is on her property, it is far enough removed and hidden by forest that it felt secluded and private. The tent was unbelievably comfortable and stocked with the essentials (lamps, fans, water, coffee, bed). The outdoor shower was super fun/refreshing to use and the compost toilet was very comfortable. The space is fantastic, we wish we had brought corn hole or something because there’s enough room for some fun outdoor games like that!!! Not much beats the night though. Bianca has little string lights by the tent and near the fire that were so cute. Set against a starry sky and a roaring bonfire... we truly couldn’t be happier! Would highly recommend this site!!

This is to show you the space... there’s still so much more but goes to show you the privacy!Making breakfast in the am! We brought our own grill but Bianca also offers at an additional cost. The fire we built. Bianca sells bundles of wood for $10 and it was perfectly dry, our fire lasted for at least two hours. Outdoor shower :-)

This weekend, my family and I went on a Covid-safe adventure of hiking and glamping @celestial_meadow_camp None of us has ever been camping before. To say that this was a perfect introduction to living in the great outdoors would be a massive understatement!

@celestial_meadow_camp is located in the Catskills, surrounded by scenic, outdoor adventures for everyone, but you really don’t even need to leave the campsite. Bianca, the host, has the space set up with everything you might need while camping. She was incredibly kind and welcoming! The space is dog friendly, kid friendly, and—my favorite—disabled friendly!

Bianca went above and beyond to make the campsite wheelchair accessible:
⛺️ She built a ramp to the tent
⛺️ she rebuilt the outdoor toilet, so I could drive right up to it and safely transfer to do my business
⛺️ she provided a chair to use in the outdoor shower
⛺️ she cleared pathways around the grounds wide enough for my wheelchair to drive on
⛺️ She Made EFFORT to be inclusive! And, she did all of this within one week of me messaging her to inquire on the accessibility of her space.

@celestial_meadow_camp said repeatedly that none of the accommodations were a big deal or hard to implement, but this experience was such a big deal (in the best of ways) for me and my family. If you’re looking for a fun glamping trip in the best of spaces, go check them out.
