This is a very private isolated setting with fire ring, picnic table, outhouse and shelter. Quiet enough to allow your inner voice to be heard. A writers paradise. A readers dream. Or bring your bikes and ride the quiet back roads through the rolling foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Along the way are several stream crossings where you can try your luck at catching a native brook trout. You will very likely see wild deer and turkeys while on a ride. You may even see a bear or bobcat. Bird life abounds and it is not an uncommon site to see bald eagles along the local streams and rivers. Cooperstown Baseball hall of fame is an hour away. Bring your kayaks or canoes and drift either the Delaware or Susquehanna rivers which are just minutes away. Between camp and Cooperstown are several micro breweries, vineyards and fine dining establishments.. On Friday evenings you can take a ride on the Blues Train in the town of Milford which is also on the way to Cooperstown. Milford is also home of the Ommegang Belgium Brewery where you can taste test and feast on beer simmered mussels. This area used to produce more than 3 million pounds of hops every year. Celebrate that legacy with a tour at nearby Brewery Ommegang. There is so much to do just ask your host.

Amazing weekend! Camp was everything we expected and wanted for a weekend away! Our host even showed us a few tricks! Thanks Bob! It’s very remote, yet so close to civilization if you’ve forgot something! We were able to hear all of nature’s sounds! We had a few chipmunks, squirrels and some butterflies as visitors! We could hear the deer roaming around while we sat and enjoyed our morning drinks! It was a little slice of heaven! Thank you!!
