The Backwoods Manor was a great overnight stay! Amy was very accommodating and her property had nearly everything you need for an outdoor getaway. The property is very well maintained and the newly introduced bathhouse was very welcomed. I would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to make it back one day!

Volleyball net placed in the lawn of the Backwoods manor. The horseshoe pit on the main lawn of the property, horseshoes included. Horseshoes provided for the horseshoe pit outside. The main barn on the property, surrounded by New York's finest fall colors.

Backwoods was great! We had different options for setting up our tent, open space for stargazing or in a beautiful apple orchard. The bathroom is awesome! With flushing toilets and hot showers, bring own towel and toiletries! There is a pavilion that has all the things you need to cook and hang out, plus a nice common fire pit where we met other cool campers. We could bring our dog which is always nice. We had all sorts of plans to go around the surrounding area, but the space is really lovely so we just relaxed and soaked in the fall scenery. This space is better than most state parks, I would highly recommend it, the hosts were around to answer questions and chat with, but totally left us to ourselves.
